This place serves good organic coffee and fresh organic juices. This place is exclusively meant for high-end coffee drinkers (Starbucks type) as the price is very steep for the item.

Their coffee is super tasty, they have a small but yummy selection of baked goods, their outdoor seating is lovely, and they have free WiFi. Really, nothing to criticize :)

Popped in during a day of wandering and was not let down. Great coffee and drinks and boasts the strongest wifi signal around (owners words, not mine). I can attest, it was definitely a better signal than where we were staying. Super friendly and quick service, and a cozy treehouse atmosphere. Definitely swing by and have a cup.

This place sources it's coffee primarily from an organic Guatemala farm. The coffee is good quality and the juice is fresh and local. I had the iced latte which was delicious and refreshing with the hot weather. My friend got the pinapple juice which was good. The staff are very nice and can make drinks to your specifications like a... More

Of course this a cute pace (everything here is cute). Cool breezed coffee house that you can chill at inside or out. buy coffee beans here and get them grounded. Ordered a chai latte with 2 shots of espresso. It was delish. However, I needed more espresso. sigh

Enjoyed sitting up in the tree on a hot afternoon. Good coffee and tea and setting was wonderful, overlooking downtown.

We ordered the tea. It is unsweetened, so be sure to use their sugar if you like that. We got 2 larges for $5 USD, which seems reasonable.

Description
Above Grounds Coffee has established a direct connection with small independent farmers in Guatemala. Hand-picked, processed & roasted by small family operations. Their 100% mountain grown and 100% Arabica coffee beans are shade grown, hand-picked and then processed to organic standards. All fields meet elevation requirements for Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) grade and some meet the Fancy (F) grade. These two top grades (Fancy and SHB) total less than 2.5% off all coffee produced globally!
