We had breakfast here and the food was excellent. They have local food but praise God they had pancakes for my picky eater. The price was great as well. Dawn is very nice and personally treats the costumers like friends. Look forward eating lunch and dinner here.

We have visited Placencia multiple times, but this was our first visit to Dawns. From the food to the atmosphere, the entire visit was wonderful. We had a lobster sandwich, lamb chops and creole grouper in our group and all were wonderful. (By far the best was the grouper though.) For desert we indulged in the bread pudding (A++), lime... The eggs and johnnycakes with guava jelly were some of the best. She even makes her own hot sauces ....the green was my favorite! A must place to dine while in Placencia.

Best Breadudding ever. Until now I never lcare for bread pudding. Friendly family run business. You must order the fajitas to go to take on your airflight back. You won't be dissapointed.

The staff at Dawn's is so very nice, that I hate to write an average review. But, the food was just average. Since everyone was so nice and friendly, we were expecting great things, but we're disappointed when the food came out just average.

After hitting a different restaurant for lunch and dinner every day we finally decided to try Dawn's Grill & Go. Had we eaten here sooner this would have been the one spot we would have gone back to multiple times. Every time we walked past Dawn's the tables were always filled and the aroma was intriguing. Being right off of... More

My husband and I had heard several people rave about Dawn's, so we were excited to visit this little restaurant. We were quickly greeted by the waitress, who explained the menu on the chalkboard and provided us with drink menus. For such a small place, they have a pretty big drink menu and the food is high quality. We began... More

What a quaint little place! Food and service were outstanding. I had the lobster special & my husband had the cobia special. We eat cobia quite often bc my husband catches it back home in Hilton Head. The way Dawn prepared it was the best. We were so impressed. Very reasonably priced. We had dinner, salads , wine & desert... More

We had the Gibnut stew. You could clearly taste that the meat was frozen for some time. Service is ok. Ambiente is average. Location at Placencia main road.
