Kids had mango mambo smoothies, dad had a beer, and I had a pineapple mango ginger smoothie that likely was the culprit for done digestive issues for the rest of the day. Can't prove it, but seems likely. Pricing ok, kids & dad were happy.

A virtual vego paradise! Everything on the menu looked amazing and there were alot of happy customers both times I visited. For a vego like myself it was fantastic to see so much on the menu I could eat. Complete with an extensive smoothie range - biggest I've ever seen in one place it is definitely worth a visit. It's... Sitting in The SHAK,which is right on the beach by the fisherman's wharf, we had two excellent fresh lobster tostada's followed by an amazing frozen key lime pie. The service was friendly and helpful and the prices were reasonable. No frills but great down to earth value in paradise.

They offer more local dishes, which I preferred. Friendly service, don't mind waiting for FRESHLY prepared eats! Location overlooks the beach at the docks. Reasonably priced.

My husband and I got off the plane, checked in at Sand Garden and walked to The Shak. Our place of temporary residence was at the opposite end of the point (where the sidewalk ends) so it was about a 25 min walk from one end to the other. At 4:00 in the afternoon it was H.O.T. It was worth... More

After several meals here, it's clear to me that this is a family-run restaurant with friendly staff who want to help you enjoy Placencia as well as feed you good and delicious food. There's even a posted list of the nutrients in their famous seaweed shakes. Reasonable prices and a great location at the end of the road by the... More

Great breakfast and even better juice and smoothies tucked away at the end of the pier. We stopped in on Monday when some of the other breakfast joints are closed and were really glad we did.

Good food, nice people and enjoy your meal while dolphins forage mere metres away in full view. You will find yourself coming back again & again.

We found the The Shak at the end of the walk way. Had an awesome lunch - Tofu Burger and banana chips. Really well priced and perfect location for a quiet lunch and watching the fishermen loading the boats. We wanted to head back for dinner that night as it was so good but it was closed. Definitely recommend!

We walked to the end of the pier for sunset and discovered this place on our return, the BEST conch fritters on the island, and amazing milkshakes - perfect for pre dinner relaxing also. Friendly and relaxed vibe, great people working there and a tasty menu at reasonable prices.
