We went here for lunch one day and the owner along with other ex-pats greeted us warmly upon arrival as did the owners two dogs (Mia and Ziggy.) The food was excellent and the service could not have been better. The place is very laid back and relaxed. We were told by a few people there was trivia that was... More

The best thing about pickled parrot is the friendly atmosphere, the restaurant dogs and the great 10 lunches. Stop in to see for your self. Not all the food is fantastic but all is ok. Try the Chicken sandwich. Yummy!

We happened to show up on Trivia night and had a great time playing trivia with all the ex-pats who frequent this place. Eugene, the owner really made you feel at home. Highly recommended! the food was good and affordable

Stoped by and had a few beers, met the resident dogs very sweet. The owners were very welcoming, and they had a great menu.

My brother Jim and I heard so much about the "Pickled Parrot" as we researched what and where to visit during our 8 day stay in Placencia, Belize. The Pickled Parrot always came to the top of our search. We were NOT disappointed for sure. IF you want to discover where the local "ex pats" meet and have some fun... More

This place had the best burgers! The owner greeted us as we walked in and stopped by our table for a chat, and the staff were very friendly!

Super cool vibe here. Eugene runs a good operation - reaonable prices, good food, and very friendly. A couple of resident Border Collies add to the ambience and this place is definitely worth your time and friendship.

We stopped at Pickled parrot for a late lunch. We enjoyed everything about our visit...the servers were friendly, the owner stopped by the table, and the food was great. We had the cheeseburger, philly cheese steak, and meatloaf. The philly was a favorite in particular.

A bunch of locals, pickled parrotheads all, by the looks of them, were ensconced at the bar when we visited for lunch. The fish & chip lunch was nice--lionfish! Cigarette smoke hanging in the still air was unpleasant, even after we intentionally chose a table away form the bar, and the streaming music paying constantly cut in and out.
