We arrived fresh off the boat from Ranguana Caye and were starving! We got there a little too early to have dinner, but we have the snapper ceviche and lobster flatbread. The snapper ceviche was EXCELLENT; I would eat that everyday if I could. The cocktails were really great too! Next time we will definitely visit for dinner.

Liked it enough the 1st time to go back a second time. They had fun drinks to go along with a great menu!

On a recent trip to Placencia last week we ate here three times. Just to return once would have been unusual for us but the food was quite good and the options sufficient. Also their were daily specials to help enliven the standard menu. Service is good, wine prices acceptable, drink prices reasonable and the setting just lovely sitting on... More

Great food and great bartenders. Make a reservation if you want to sit on the balcony but you can always sit at the bar and you'll get even better service. Will visit again when I back in Placencia.

We visited this restaurant twice during our week at Placencia...it was that good. The food was fresh, creative and delicious - our compliments to the chef. Service was efficient and friendly. An especially nice touch was manager Paulo who visited every table before ordering to explain in detail the specials of the day. Can't leave out the bartenders...top marks for... More

This is a restaurant located at the center of town, at a second floor of a wooden nice house with a caribbean style. Very well set, tables, chairs, bar, decoration, flowers, everything nice. There is also a nice balcony. Kind personnel giving a good service to customers. Food dishes with a great presentation. I went for dinner, we were a... More

Wow! We weren't expecting this to be such an unbelievable place to dine. Without reservations, we arrived to a pretty full restaurant on a Tuesday night and were seated at the bar but a table was available within 5 minutes. We ordered smoked mackerel as an appetizer-so tasty. I had a daily special snook cassoulet that burst with flavor. My... More

Staff is very courteous, service is pretty quick, owners are friendly. But the cuisine is a bit too spicy for me. Even the cannoli we had for dessert had some habanero pepper in it. It would probably be a five if you like hot food.

When we booked a table the restaurant was full but they very kindly, with a little persuasion, fitted us in. the food was excellent, service great. We sat outside on the balcony. The restaurant just gave out a lovely feel.

In a town of expensive and mediocre restaurants Rumfish stands out. The fish tacos were extraordinary as was the ceviche. Though wines are very expensive I Placencia this restaurant had some relatively reasonably priced and good wines. The restaurant itself is a lovely spot to hang out
