We visited Rum and Fish, the attention was very good and the food delicious, the menu creative. I had a wonderful coffee rubbed fish! But the rest of food was very good as well, had the best pińa colada I have had in years, personnel very helpful with the recommendations as well!

My fiancee and I were poking around Placencia, looking for a place for lunch. It was just noon, We saw a woman at the top of the steps and asked if they were open. She looked around and said they don't officially open until two, but we were more than welcome to come up anyway. Once I mentioned that my... More

We stayed at Turtle Inn for 9 nights. While the food there was good...it was rather expensive so we decided to venture into town to find something for dinners a few nights. We found Rumfish (also came highly recommended by the folks at Turtle Inn) and ended up eating there 5 nights in a row. The food was amazing (my... More

The menu here is fantastic! We went with a party of 4 and all had something different The food was all excellent. The manager/owner came to the table to greet us personally and suggest their infused cocktails. Home run!!! We love this little second story restaurant and balcony seating to watch the village goings on! We will be back again!

This was my second birthday dinner at Rumfish. The restaurant is appealing to the eyes. The food was truly fantastic. A very tasty fish camoulet dinner with lots of other sea food as the sauce, just excellent. They surprised me and brought me a caramel flan for dessert, that too was great. The service was terrific. A high recommendation for... More

This place doesn't have as much of a "laid back" vibe as most of the rest of the restaurants in Belize. That's to say, you won't find the typical atmosphere of island music, Belikins being clinked and Creole coming from the darker corners of the bar. It's more of a fine dining experience, and the price reflects it. If you're... More

This place is upstairs over a real estate office. Be sure to dine on the balcony because it's cooler. They had great ceviche and great coconut mojitos. The chef came out to chat with us. He was very proud of his craft.

Thank Chris B
