I ate a little of everyone's food here. Great flavors. Chill patio atmosphere. Casual. Can't get enough of this seafood!

Loved Omar's!! Had dinner here. Every meal is delicious and the flavors are perfect. Its a BYOB restaurant, but the grocery store right across the street has many choices of Beer, Wine and Liquor....

Down home Belizean fare. Moderate prices. Village atmosphere. You can buy beer to drink across the street at the market. Stewed chicken, rice and beans number one.

Okay food as far as flavor and quality but my fish had a lot of bones in it and the conch in the Ceviche was a bit rubbery. Wouldn't repeat.

Omars is by far one of the most authentic Creole spots on the peninsula. It has a fun and colorful location on the road and attracts locals , expats and tourists making for a nice vibe. The servings are extremely generous and fresh. I had never had barracuda and Omar does it justice. If you want to hang out with... More

Our group of 13 all made it to eat at Omar's. Everything served was fresh. The seafood/fish was just caught that day and the juices were all fresh squeezed. The restaurant serves a creole style food (and I do not care for food that is too spicy). Every dish served here (that anyone in our group ordered) was far beyond... More

We were excited to try some creole food, since that's what it was advertised...but we were wrong. The only real thing that was creole, was the fish with creole sauce. Though, it was pretty decent, there wasn't a lot of fish with plain white rice. It wasn't a large meal either, but for two dishes it came down to about... More

My wife had Caribbean chicken curry with coconut rice, I had grilled lionfish, originally considered having the barracuda and asked how it was served, the friendly waitress gave a interesting detailed description only adding at the end that they were out of it. Chabil Mar staff very amused by the tale. Enjoyable meal, but nothing special.

Omar's cooked our Mackerel catch to perfection, giving us two varieties: Creole style in a tomato-based sauce, and oven grilled with onions and peppers. Both were outstanding and were served with coconut rice, coleslaw and a fried plantain. Because we told them to keep the leftover of the two cleaned fish we brought them, they surprised us by giving us... More
