This is a beautiful place with such a warm ambience. There are so many places to sit - the dining room, under the stars, or on the patio - all perfect options. I especially loved breakfast on the patio while we watched and listened to...the many tropical birds. We ate every single meal here breakfast, lunch, dinner, and sometimes a midday snack. We were so happy with our experience each and every time. First of all, the staff is second to none. Always so accommodating and gracious. True professionals. As for the food, it was so flavorful and savory and I loved the many menu options. We never got bored. I tried so many different dinner entrees from crusted fish filet to sushi to chicken and beef. My compliments to the Chef! The breakfast options were equally pleasing and delicious and I tried my first Johnny Cake. Honorable mention to the many breakfast smoothies - what a way to start your day. Oh, and how could I forget the bar? The bartenders are quite talented and whipped up some interesting drinks like mango or watermelon mojitos. Yum!More

The food was delicious, the servers delightful and setting unbelievable. We both ordered Mediterranean Salad and I added very good onion rings. It came with think sauce and pita bread. So good.

I can only attest to their calamari and Lebanese platter with kibbeh. The calamari was perfectly cooked and seasoned, perfect with its mango sweet and chili sauce. The Lebanese platter with kibbeh was delicious. Don't forget to ask for the garlic sauce! Btw, the garlic...sauce with the calamari was so good, too!!!More

Lovely place to sit in a beautiful dining room or on the terrace overlooking the pool. Extremely varied menu for Belize. We are most meals here during our 6 night stay as we could count on the purified water making all ingredients accessible. I am...gluten free and the kitchen was extremely accommodating. Service is thorough and food was creative and delicious. Steaks are the freshest you will find, from their own ranch a few miles away. People have commented on slow service, but relax, folks, this is Central America, not the US! Enjoy the lovely spot and have a rum punch!More

The restaurant is inside the San Ignacio Resort Hotel, but is a full restaurant open to all customers. We usually avoid "hotel Restaurants", but we went there on the Christmas Eve because many restaurants were closed and the few open were fully booked. Entering the...Hotel we appreciated the nice lobby and very kind receptionist, but we notice also a terrifying view: a Christmas buffet with pasta, turkey, mashed potatoes and other traditional american food that we didn't want to eat while in Belize. Luckily the waiter offered us a limited, but nice A la Carte menu as well. Even this menu had a very limited offer of local cuisine (ceviche, lobster popper, and few other items) and offered mediterranean plates like hummus, kebabs or sushi and many kinds of steaks; but we were so happy to have found a place where to eat that accepted the international menu. We were sitting outside, on a beautiful terrace that during the day has a beautiful view on the garden. Nice table setting and perfect service. We had (all price in Belize dollars that are 2 BLZ for 1 USD): Popcorn Caribbean Lobster $40 Eggplant Fries $12 Beef Tenderloin Fillet with brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes $60 Lebanese Platter (hummus, pita, olives, grilled vegetables) + Lamb skewers $16 As a drink a good bubbly rose brut from Italy at a reasonable $65 Very good food cooked and presented in a very accurate way. And, as I said, the service was very professional. So we end up to have a very satisfying Christmas dinner in a nice ambient, even if with a little Belizean flavor.More

We went here for lunch and they had taco Thursday do so we ordered the fish and lobster tacos. The lobster taco was ok but the fish taco was amazing. My kids had the chicken tortilla soup and tacos. The place was busy, it took...over an hour for us to get our food. So if you are in a hurry to get to a tour, skip this place. It’s a good place for a leisurely lunch. I would recommend trying the flavored mojitos. I liked the tamarind mojito, different from anything I’ve had before.More

Ate most of our meals at the Running W during our stay at San Ignacio Resort Hotel. Sitting on the terrace watching the wildlife, especially the toucans, added to the experience. Great variety and the food was excellent and so fresh.
