We loved this place for the service, friendliness and great tasting food. I had the coconut conch which was out of this world good, my husband had the chicken curry and said it was so good and our girls had coconut shrimp which they both...said was fantastic. They also make wonderful smoothies/slushes and we all had the lime one (non-alcoholic) which was perfect with our meal. We dined inside and had great service that was friendly & accomodating! I can honestly say it was the best coconut conch I have ever had!More
Enjoyed a terrific meal with great service on the outside terrace. Stewed chicken was sensational. Price was very reasonable. Courteous staff.
Authentic food from European to creole to Belizean prepared in a kitchen that you can watch the chef prepare your meal and ask questions if you so wish
Our food was delicious - we got shrimp ceviche which was the best we had during our trip. They have so many options on their menu, you are sure to find something you'll love. Their drink menu is also expansive and creative - I had...a spicy cucumber margarita that was fantastic. Our food came in a very reasonable time frame! The restaurant was super clean and well-decorated as well and they have a nice patio area if you want to eat outside. This trip advisor listing says they're only open for take-out, but they are open for sit down meals. The staff were so friendly. Nance in particular came and chatted with us about our trip and was so welcoming. She actually happened to know our snorkel guide from a few days ago! Our last meal of our trip was at Erva's and our experience reflected how we felt throughout our trip - the people are just wonderful and welcoming and the food is truly spectacular.More
The food and drinks here were delicious! Service was friendly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this place!
The place is really good , bit slow but that's ok, i can wait for my food as long is good, i say this place is one of my favorites 100% but the las two times i found my meal bit salty this never happened...before here maybe I was not lucky but i still highly recommend the place, it's nice the fact that they have an open kitchen. So you can see them working which also offers a nice experience... If you talk to the waitress they can easily do modifications in your orders Wich I love to do, burritos are huge and the steaks are massive sizes. Lots of options and lots of them are great, butter and garlic, the creole, the curry (the owner and chef is from India, he knows) the burgers are some of my favorites in the town.More
They say Belize is a melting pot of cultures. This multi-generational restaurant highlights the best of all the foods you could hope for along with ones that you would never expect. There is something here for everyone and even more for those who want to...try something new… ask the owners about their specialties and you can’t go wrong. I had the lamb curry as a recommendation and can’t say enough about how special this meal was…the two day marinade stole my tastebuds.More
Thanks you so much glad you enjoyed your meal. Hope you continue enjoying your vacation.
Cute and welcoming. Loved the drinks and food. Nice family run place with a variety of options for whatever your group may be looking for. We wanted traditional dishes and ordered the stewed chicken an coconut shrimp. Both were really flavorful. Drinks were delicious as...well. The bartender was out, but we were still able to order the rum mama and banana daiquiri. Would recommend either.More
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed your meals.
This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food is very good. Clean and excellent service. Good price.
Thanks you so much for coming. Glad you enjoyed your meals!!
As a hindu vegetarian, I am very specific about my diet. And it was so nice to visit a rsnt that actually has a whole section in veggie food and it isn’t just the usual “we’ll remove the chicken and only serve you the rice...and salad” kind of makeshift options. Nolan, the owner is super friendly and provides you great tips for local sightseeing.More
Food was delicious and staff was friendly. They made "food to go" for our adventures. We had Belizean style chicken, fried plantain, beans and rice.
We ordered ordered the ceviche which was $9us, it was a large size bowl of chopped tomatoes and onions with maybe 2 medium shrimp in the whole thing. The flavor was great, but really a rip off for so little shrimp. We ordered the fried...fish entree which was 1 filet that was mostly breading and the fish itself was 1/8” in thick. I have never seen such a small portion of fish. We also had a burger which was nicely cooked. The restaurant did have AC which was unusual for this area. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I just didn't think this was anywhere near a good value and I wouldn't return.More
We weren't headed anyplace in particular for dinner, just into town to explore. Found Erva's on a side street-- looked pretty, a little cozier than some of the homespun places, but the scent coming out the door was pure Belize!! Hubby had curry lamb (mild,...per suggestion!)- tender and so fragrant!! Fresh crushed spices (allspice leaf? Whole clove?) made it special. I had coconut fish with rice. She made sure I understood it was a soup with vegetables. Oh My!! I was served a deep bowl piled high, and rice on the side. Every time I dippefd my spoon, I found something new-- fresh fish, carrot, potato, okra, cauliflower, green bean, onion, a wheel of corn on the cob, all in a rich coconut broth. SO GOOD!! We were so full, but had to ask: what's available for dessert? The lovely Nandina told us there was one dessert prepared: Triple Chocolate Cake Trifle, and she had made it herself. Not wanting to turn her down (no, really I REALLY wanted that!!!!), we shared. Oh my, again!! Home run inn the triple chocolate! Very pleased. Loved the open kitchen-- we seated ourselves to be able to watch the action.More
My wife and I arrived from a 15 hour travel day and wanted local Belizian food. Ezra's did not disappoint. We started with Conch cerviche and drinks. Wow, it was fresh and tasty. Next my wife ordered the beef stew special and I the Conch...Creole. Be sure to ask for their house made hot sauce, it is superb. What can I say, one of our favorite meals and we only spent $50 American with tip and three drinks.More
