We had a hard time finding this place as it's down a tiny street and not visible from the main road but it was a lovely surprise. Raj greeted us and convinced us to get the full meal - with all the extras - and...it was worth it. First, we had our faces painted with vibrant colors, then an assortment of appetizers, followed by our choices of main dishes, but which we could all share. One of our group was allergic to onions (not easy to avoid in Indian food) but Raj accommodated him. Next was surprise items - leaves with a variety of spices like fennel seeds, coconut, and honey, which Raj packaged up and feed us, and then chai tea, very delicious. It was a really fun and delightful meal!! We look forward to our next visit.More

We have been travelling in Central America few months now, and definetely the best Indian/Nepali restaurant so far. Food is delicious, portions are big, and owner is nice guy. I would definetely recommend this place for everyone who visit belmopan.

A great restaurant, with good food and an amazing experience. The owner was very attentive and friendly. I learned more about India in this restaurant than in all the restaurants I’ve ever been. Strongly recommend!

The food is very good and a nice change of pace if you've been in Belize for a while and are craving something different. The place is a one man operation and he puts on quite a show. The problem we had, and it's a...big one, is that we were given a number of items which we didn't order and charged outrageous prices. For two people to pay 140 Belizean dollars for a meal (no alcohol) is simply highway robbery. We were given a starter plate that we didn't order (the host told us he wanted us to sample something he thought we would like), two full orders of naan which we never asked for and didn't eat...need I continue? Granted it is our fault for not clarifying everything in advance, but frankly we were ripped off royaly. As experienced travelers, we generally are more careful than this, but we let our guard down and the owner took full advantage. The last time this happened to us was in the kasbah in Tangeirs, Morocco. We shoud have known better. I would strongly urge you to make sure you only receive the menu items you specifically order and not be suckered in like we were believing that this outgoing, seemingly friendly man was actually a con artist in a kitchen. Again, the food is good, but make sure everything is clear before the dishes start piling up or else you will end up with a much lighter wallet at the end of the meal.More
