Cheers is a good local food spot. We stopped in on our way from the airport to san ignacio. The place is just off the highway and easy to find. The food is typical belizian cuisine. Average price and good service. The seating is outdoors so there is a bit of a bug problem so bring the bug spray.

We needed to eat something quickly between our tubing trip and a drive down to Placencia - Cheers was nearby so we decided to stop in. We were all very pleased with the quality of our food - everything was delicious!

I have a difficult time choosing from the menu! So many good choices. And then there are specials to consider. Like today's Satay pork. Nicely done on skewers with fresh tortilla and cucumber salad. I like that the iced tea is not presweetened. For the road I am hooked on the cookies. I always snag one as I leave. Oatmeal... More

The food is not exquisite, but pretty good. They have good size servings and the service is decent. In a tropical setting, the place doesn't feel immaculate, yet it's not uncomfortable. All in all, if you're travelling cross country and you happen to pass, it's a good place to stop in and have a rest before hitting the road again.

We were headed from the city to Sleeping giant and were starving. Thankfully I already knew we could stop at Cheers from previous reviews. There are a lot of options on the menu, bathrooms and good coverage from the rain. Hubby and I both ordered omelettes, his a daily meat lovers special and mine a Spanish. The boys had a... More

This little restaurant is very close to the Belizean zoo and we are there twice on our recent trip to Belize. The service was great and the food tasted so good. My husband and I had the chicken with rice and beans and enjoyed every last bite. Price is totally amazing and worth every penny! Cheers!

The location is good, quite near the zoo. However, this restaurant is basically set up for tour buses and large groups. The food was decent and the service friendly. The outdoor patio seating was nice.

I stop every trip to Belize. Food is great (I've tried most) and service is too. Very friendly and I would highly recommend. Most American and Belizian food available. Call ahead for food and it will be ready when you arrive. US $ welcome!

The good came quickly and was tasty. Ordered Fry Jacks and beans and it was very good. Still has the charm from the previous visit and there seems to be even more t-shirts on the ceiling, although some have...over time gathered a bit of mildew. Probably needs addressing. Additionally, the honey feeders for Humming Birds attract a lot of flies,... More
