You must try the Chana Masala here. the Butter Chicken is delicious too but I personally love this one. Make sure you leet them know you do not want too much spice!

The best Indian food anywhere in Belize... and probably the best I've ever had in the USA. Very friendly staff and food selections are quite varied. Highly recommend the vegetable samosas and the Chicken Tiki-Masala.The Chicken Kalimurchi is fabulous if you like spicy! Meals come with servings of pickled onions & carrots, both most tasty.

i can hardly find words to say how much i love this restaurant. Sumathi is located in a quiet part of Belize City and serves delicious food. Here you can try meat-less dishes like sag paneer (spinach and cheese) mushroom paneer, veggie kofta, or aloo gobi, and you don't miss the meat at all. There are also lamb and chicken... More

Vasco da Gama discovered the sea route to India - I discovered the Indian Cuisine in Belize - the spice they looked for in the 1400s is at Sumathi - No need to face long distance travelling and its perils - in Beliz City - ask for your favourite Indian Dish and you shall have - be it solo, family,... Super Indian food - as good as I've had anywhere. Would drive/fly/sail to all the way to B.C. JUST for some of this excellent fare. When I eat Indian, I like it rare.

Only place we could find open on Easter Sunday. A favorite with the locals. We ordered the Mutter Paneer and Dhal Mhakni. Service a little slow but wait was worth it! Food came with homemade pickled veggies - very yummy!

This was easily the best meal during our 3-week holiday. Lots of flavour and nicely spicy. Service was a bit unusual. Highly recommended.

We ordered takeaway including a simple chicken curry (not on the menu) and paneer shashlick, along with bhajis, black dhal, poppadums and rice. We were given nan bread too. Decent flavour in everything, though the curry was a bit more Chinese in flavour than Indian, but enough food for breakfast too. Bahjis were huge, and the dhal was a bit... More

nothing fancy, but a nice dine in restaurant in the city. maybe I'm bias, but it's the best Indian food I've ever had including in the US. entrees are usually large enough to share, usually each entrée is enough for 2 people so I recommend ordering several and sharing. My favorites include Butter Chicken and Manchurian chicken.
