Great place with friendly staff! We were so impressed that we ate here our last two nights! Highly recommend.

Terrific atmosphere, great waitress & staff, friendly feeling all around & the food was terrific. We ate later than normal yet everyone was still up to speed & friends, plus the food was excellent. We all ordered a variety of items & each of us...said we'd come back again - it was that good! Thanks!More

The atmosphere at Il Pellicano is spectacular and the service is wonderful. That said, the food was not good. We had the fish special and the piece of fish was terribly under seasoned and just bad. Our other dish was gnocchi with Gorgonzola and honestly...the sauce tasted like a jar of Alfredo sauce with a bunch of black pepper added. We didn’t complain at the restaurant; I mean, what do you say about flavor and seasoning? Overall the experience was nice, but the food is just not good. I wish it had been, but alas, that is not the case. I’m rounding up to 3 stars because the property and service are lovely; if I were rating food alone it would be 1 Star.More

Recommended over and over by locals, we had a very nice dinner here. The garden is lush and lovely. We saw innumerable hummingbirds and tons of lizards while we enjoyed our drinks and appetizers, before the sun fell. Both my husband and I got a...pizza and were pleased - a large portion with plenty to save for another meal. Service was a bit rushed - trying to turn over the table - but it was understandable given how busy things were. I would have liked to linger in the garden, but there were people waiting for tables so we moved along. Get there early - enjoy a drink in the garden - and relax, before having a meal.More

We enjoyed breakfast twice during our stay. Very good food and nice location. We also found the owner to be very friendly.

Ambience is incredibly romantic and nice, wine was great, but unfortunately the food wasn't good. SO many great reviews so naturally we were disappointed. I had the pesto pasta and am a big fan of pesto. This was major pesto overkill by the chef...while I...didn't send it back, our server removed it from our bill since she could tell I barely had any. My husband's pizza was just ok, which is hard to do to pizza. Not sure if we would give it another try. Live music by Gregory is always a nice touch...he's such a treat to listen to. Ambience, wine, music, YES! Food, not so much.More

This was about the fanciest restaurant we went to in Caye Caulker, and it still wasn't fussy or pretentious. We tried the signature cocktail which sounded delicious and it was. Great pizza too, a gamberi with bechamel sauce and shrimp, and a salsiccia. Excellent crust....Really good live music too.More

Not only was the food delicious, but the ambiance was just wonderful. We were there during a rainstorm, so we were happy to have such a nice refuge.

It is a lot of satisfying work to keep the property lush with all the tropical plants but it worth it when we get the positive feedback on the ambiance. Thank you.
