This restaurant accomodated our group of 10 very easily. We stopped for lunch here as part of our package with TuffENuff catamaran snorkel tours. Our table was near the open window and the views were spectacular.
Each of us ordered something different. All meals were good. I got fajitas. They seasoned the meat very well and the veggies were cooked to perfection. The only complaint in our group was that the fries were pieces and not full fries. But they were good.
Service was good. Bathrooms were clean. Only one bathroom for men and one for women. No real complaints.

This restaurant sits out over the water, offering a very pleasant setting for our dinner. My wife and I shared a lovely garden salad to start - the best salad we have had on the island. I had the coconut shrimp that was the special of the night. My wife tried stew chicken for the first time. We discovered it is not a stew, it is roast chicken, and it has a very nice Caribbean flavor to it. Both meals came with large baked potatoes, a welcome change from french fries. They did not have any desserts to offer, but our waiter recommended we try the "cake lady," who sits at a small table out on the main street near the Rainbow Grill selling single slices of several different kinds of cake. As we were leaving we met several smart customers coming in who were bringing cake from the cake lady with them for dessert!

Besides having one of the best settings for a restaurant in Caye Caulker, they have really good food and their service was very friendly and efficient. My wife had a chicken burrito and I had a fish burrito. Both were huge and very flavorful. Mine was loaded with grilled snapper and the tortilla was really good too. Great dinner!

This restaurant was highly recommended to us. The fact that there was no one there at dinner time should have been a clue. After we walked in and were greeted by a less than enthusiastic server who basically threw the menu at us, we decided to just order a beer and something simple, and leave. We chose the nachos. BIG mistake. Worst nachos I have ever had. A plate of soggy chips, covered with something resembling salsa. Not really sure what is was. If you want to stop for a drink and enjoy the oceans views, fine. If you want food, go somewhere else!

Wayyyyy overpriced and the service was okay. My fish sandwich was almost inedible because of how soggy it was. The cheese fries tasted like they were from a middle school cafeteria. Pina coladas were good.

Nice location, right on the beach. Largish covered area.
Varied menu. We were keen to try conch which we'd never had before. It was served deep fried in batter. But it was so tough - reminiscent of poorly cooked octopus. Suspect it is not always like that.
We were in a group but even allowing for that the service was rather chaotic and too slow. Were they understaffed perhaps.

Loved this place. We were told to eat here by our tour with Amigos Del Mar. I was skeptical of whether it would be any good. But it was sooooo excellent. Easily it was thE best salad I had anywhere during my stay on San Pedro. The snapper was soooo fresh and delicious! The restaurant sits out over the water. It is so perfect. I said I wasn’t giving any 5 star reviews bc everything is over priced but this place was priced cheaper than San Pedro. The chef herself came to our table to check with us if we were enjoying our food. Sooooo good. I will miss the fresh fish. Thank you Rainbow Grill!

We are staying at the 🌈 rainbow inn across the street we have eaten here twice food is great a little pricey if your on a budget. Both time the service was quite slow like in the restaurant for 2 hrs. The islands motto is go slow but wow!! Like I said food great service could be better.

We went out for dinner and to put it in a nutshell - it wasn't tasty.
"Baked potato" was cooked, not baked. The meat tasted as if it was reheated. Big difference when compared to other places in Caye Caulker that we visited, whetr everything was fresh, and the most pricy too!

Went to the Rainbow Grill with my husband and another couple. The service was very good ( quick and correct) and the food was great! I had the lobster salad, which had PLENTY of lobster,and nice, fresh greens, my husband had the shrimp salad ( ditto for the shrimp) and the other couple split an order of chicken fajitas. There was plenty of food for them to share! HIGHLY recommend!

I would only ever give a bad review if it was warranted and this certainly is. First issue was when a bee landed in my Margherita and was told by the waiter that they would not be replacing it. Second was the whole lobster I had ordered. It was dry and tasteless and too hard to get out of the shell. I could not finish this despite trying. The night before I had the most succulent juicy fresh lobster at Enjoy Bar and grill with great service. So
Etching else that was lacking at Rainbow Bar & Grill. The o my hood thing I can say is it does have a great location but don’bother if you appreciate quality food and good service

Edible; but not great. Everything we had was just meh. My boyfriends steak looked terrible and he hardly touched it. I kept it simple with nachos… they weren’t very good either. Drinks weren’t very good either. Nice view but we won’t be back.

We ate here a lot!! Party of 6 adults. Got a variety of food at every meal. It was all delicious!! Drinks too!
They let us spread out and play games we brought from home and never hassled us about moving on. Really nice ppl/atmosphere. Clean bathrooms.
Over looks the water. Easy to miss. In the middle of the island across from Rainbow Hotel. Nicest beach out front. We had professional photos taken on that beach. Turned out great.

The location is good with great views , this was unfortunately ruined by two of the worst meals we have ever had the misfortune to encounter. When we spoke to the staff they weren’t interested and told us it was the first complaint.
Sadly it was our last night on the island also my birthday both totally ruined .

We returned to Rainbow Grill 3 times this trip, once with our friends, with 2 children in tow. The atmosphere is friendly. The food is excellent. I had fajitas two times, and the chicken curry once. All were tasty. I have had in past years had quesadillas that were also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. We were there one time during full moon and that was an unexpected, beautiful, experience.
