Great beach and amenities, nearly every food item was off the menu due to supply. The drinks tasted good but were very watered down. I think this spot is having an identity crisis, in an attempt to appear high end odd choices have been made...limiting the practically of basic items. Nachos in a bowl, waiters who insist on serving you but cant enter the water where the majority of cabanas are. Would i go back? Absolutely, bucket of beers, eat beforehand, and enjoy an amazing beach.More

Had visited several times while staying on the North side of the split; VERY limited menu items - in fact was told 3 different menus by 3 different employees that came to our table one night. There were Beach Club guests staying at the resort...- have no idea what they did for food. Make sure your alcohol doesn't get watered down! Joel and Sylvia were WONDERFUL though!!! There are only 2 options for food on the North side of the split - opt out on this place and choose Blu Zen - wonderful food!!More

I came here for the day, the property was lovely and the staff was great. The only thing to mention was that their menu was VERY limited, maybe this was just the day I visited but I would not expect the full menu. They were...also out of many drinks so we were not able to have the lunch we were planning on. Aside from that, it was a lovely day with great music as well as pool toys that made the day even better! I would come back, maybe the day we came was just a fluke. The ferry was super easy and quick, however runs on island time! so plan accordingly!More

The staff here is nothing shy of amazing! Joel, Santi, Maribel, Noel and Sylvia made the entire trip! Visit with an open mind and a patient attitude. These wonderful people haven’t had work in months. Smile, relax, have fun and GO SLOW 🤟🏽

After hearing an enthusiastic review of this place, we took the free boat over to the Northside Beach Club. As we stepped off the boat, there was loud music booming. This was our first bad sign. Then a lady greeted us, not with a warm...welcome, but by telling us prices of various things and where we were and weren't allowed to go! Part of this is a private club but it could have been handled better. She's a very nice person but needs a better welcome script. They ask you to purchase something in exchange for the free boat rides, so we went into the restaurant, where the music was coming from. We asked the first person we saw if they could please turn it down. He said he couldn't but sat us by the edge, away from the speakers. We asked our server, again, if they could just turn it down a little. Admittedly we are probably not in their target age group, but it was really annoying. They finally did turn it down. But not enough. We finished our drinks and wandered over to the water but it was still loud there. So we got on the boat and went back to the south island of Caye Caulker.More

First off, you can lay on chairs under a canopy in the water for FREE!!!!! As long as you order food or drinks. The food was yummy. Had the queso too, which was cold. Not a prob bc it is supposed to be. It had...a nice kick to it.More

So, you have traveled all the way to Belize, then Caye Caulker, and you have congressed at the cozy confines of the Lazy Lizard. You are chest deep in the Split. You have arrived. Well, after 48 hours doing this, you notice 2 men in...canoes loading cargo and people and frequently traversing the Split. You could swim it. Yes. But, if you have dry clothes, wallets, credit cards, cameras, Cellies, et al, then you DO NOT want to swim the split. There is a moderate current and you will ruin your gear. You can hire the boatsmen for a few dollars to paddle 100 meters to the other side. No problem. The beginning of your mild adventure. Why would you do this? Because if you build it, they will come. And they frickin built it! The Koko King!!!! You walk 10 mins in flip flops down a dirt track and Bang! Koko King!!!! Restrooms, WiFi, pool, lounge chairs, beach, Bar, full kitchen, full bar, vibes!!!! So, yes, you MUST tear yourself from the embrace of the Lazy Lizard for a few hours, embrace the mild adventure, try that delicious curry lobster, drink that cold Gin and tonic, splish splash, use the restroom, take some pics, post some pics, play some grab ass. Then, go back to the Split and the Lizard or Iguana for sunset. If not, why descend from the trees?More

We took a boat ferry over to this island. 2 minutes. Once there you have access to their beach and some chairs. If you spend 25 BZ then you don’t have to pay for the boat ride. We had some food and a drink at...the restaurant. It was a nice quiet day on the beach. If you want to try a different view I’d say go for the day. Or just go over for lunch.More

Be An Informed Hostage You’ll eventually make your way to this place as it offers something that is missing a beach. Here’s the heads up on this one. There is no such thing as a “free boat ride”. Koko’s offer a short 4 min boat...ride across the split, now it gets interesting. Just before disembarkment, you get the directive that you must spend $25 Belizean to use their facilities; chairs, beach and shade. There were four of us. When you buy drinks at the bar and ask for a receipt, they will not provide you with one and tell you they’ll keep track. Sitting on the shade with our second pitcher of rum punch, the outside server was aggressive and reprimanding telling you that you have to spend $25 U.S to sit there, changing from $25 Belize dollars to $25 U.S. and then points you over to the blistering sun as the alternative. Three pitchers and half a dozen beers later, we had something to eat in a nice ocean view restaurant; the food was good. Upon receiving the bill, it included items that we never ordered or consumed; check the bill. I attribute all of this to the pervasive mentality of this establishment.More

I was there in Nov of last year around noon- stayed till about 4pm, and the shaded lounges were available still as they are rented out for a fee. Majority chose to lie out on one of the non shaded chairs at no cost.

Yes. But they brought in sand and it is a bit slimy or mushy when you walk out past knee deep. They say it will take a few years to settle out. But nice beach other than that. Just had poor service
