We took a boat ferry over to this island. 2 minutes. Once there you have access to their beach and some chairs. If you spend 25 BZ then you don’t have to pay for the boat ride. We had some food and a drink at...More

Be An Informed Hostage You’ll eventually make your way to this place as it offers something that is missing a beach. Here’s the heads up on this one. There is no such thing as a “free boat ride”. Koko’s offer a short 4 min boat...More

Reading these reviews have me thinking everyone was at a different place than us! WOW. We loved spending days over at KOKO King! There absolutely is shade, and one of the days we rented a cabana which was just perfect for small breaks from the...More

I wouldn’t record this place to my worst enemy. It is not vegan friendly and barely anything was vegetarian. And the food and drinks is grossly over priced. You can get all of this food for half the price on the main land. The music...More

Rude people at service and the place smell bad. We even have a problem with the bank because they charge the amount on Belizian money, and the bank did not know. No chairs, no shade and the inflate things in the water to play weren't...More

This place is a little more upscale and less party atmosphere than Lazy Lizard on the other side of the Split. We had a really nice time here, they have floaties in the water, a vollyball net and free inner tubes to float on. There...More

We took the water taxi over (yes it’s for the restaurant/hotel so don’t expect a free ride!) which was nice, then watched the beautiful beach sunset with drinks. Then we went to the lovely restaurant were we had excellent, attentive, friendly service and great food...More

I have been here twice on my trip. Once I waited an hour for the boat to go watch the live music advertised and there was no live music. Drinks are over priced in my opinion with the median being around $17bz a drink. I...More

My wife and I stopped here for a few drinks and to see the north side of the split. While the beach area was nice, the bar was absolutely disgusting. Flies were crawling over all of the food and drinks. The cups and the utensils...More

Getting to and from the north Island was very easy - just have to spend 25$ (Belize) per person for a free ride. The beach is nice and it was not crowded the day we went. We did opt for a $50 (Belize) cabana so...More

I was there in Nov of last year around noon- stayed till about 4pm, and the shaded lounges were available still as they are rented out for a fee. Majority chose to lie out on one of the non shaded chairs at no cost.

Yes. But they brought in sand and it is a bit slimy or mushy when you walk out past knee deep. They say it will take a few years to settle out. But nice beach other than that. Just had poor service
