This was our first (and one of our favorite) meal in San Pedro, It was a short walk from our hotel and is unassuming from the street. It's open air (as may places are) and simple in decor, but very clean and had attentive and pleasant service. if it's in season, get the lobster, period. My GF had twin tails... More

It was not that busy but service was not that good. last time I saw the waiter was when he brought my food. I didn't even see the bill, I just left some money on the table. The Food was good though. I ordered the one in the picture!

The manager at our hotel recommended this place to us. We bought a whole roasted chicken which came with over a dozen fresh tortillas and pico de gallo for 10 bucks US. We took it back to our condo for a quick delicious lunch and had the rest the next day. Not really a good place to dine in, there... More

Tons of food for the dollar, well prepared, fast service and cold beer. Really good experience if you are looking for a lunch place while you tour town.

After doing some scuba diving we asked our local dive master his favorite place to eat and Waruguma is where he told us to go. It was a little tough to find but asking a couple locals got us there. Had the lobster fajitas and they were great. We also ordered some of the little things they were cooking out... More

A bit hard to locate, down middle street, but once you arrive you will not be disappointed. Dirt floors to begin with, but they just add character. Ate here twice in the week we were on the island. Had lobster in coconut the first time, and BINGO it was delicious. Second time we had the pupusas's, authentic and tasted great.

This place is great. It is a couple of blocks from the tourist area and it really has a local flair and cute vibe. The lobster burrito was amazing and the prices were very good compared the rest of the island. I think it was $15 US for the burrito and it had tons of lobster meat (2-3 tails), plus... More

The lobster burrito is huge but had cabbage in top that I wasn't expecting. The lobster quesadilla was good and the lobster fajitas were too. The portions are huge and we could've all shared.

Highly recommended I wasn't impressed....a very large selection and variety of food but it was overcooked and a little on the greasy side. It was very busy with two large groups all showing up at the same time which, in their defense, may have overwhelmed the chefs. We only tried it once...

Thank Bill M
