We loved Rojo! We got there right when they opened so it was quiet with just a few other people there! Food is sort of family style so it was easy to share and get a little bit of everything!

We stayed at Coral Caye Villas. Tojo was within walking distance...although it took no time at all in the golf cart. Good food and atmosphere. Get that cool island vibe while everything is open air. Fun for both dinner or lunch. Good staff....Israel took good...More

Love this fun beach bar north of San Pedro. There are cute dogs running around, there's giant jenga, corn hole, and an infinity pool to dip in right next to the bar as you face the ocean. This is a fun spot to get away...More

We ate and drank here several times while staying next door at Matachica. The food and drinks here are awesome and it's such a fun beach vibe. They've got a great little pool as well as as corn hole and other games.

Rojo was hands down my favorite spot. It's a little off the beaten path but worth it and a great place to stop before/after visiting secret beach! I had to have the champagne with paletas and it was delish. Tried a few other cocktails (not...More

We stayed at a nearby hotel and came down for a lunch, and a dinner. Delicious food and the frozen regular mojito is probably the best, most refreshing drink, I've ever had

Just everything about this place is cool. The food, the owners, the staff, and mostly the rescue dogs. Dreaming of the Cucumber Cooler as I speak.....

Sorry. I have no idea. I was not looking for GF when I was there. They do have a website with email address and FB page that you can reach out to them directly.

We were six miles out of San Pedro town. So you are about half that. It would be a hike, they do have a big dock so maybe they do pick up! You could catch the regular water taxi or your hotel may even have one.

Description
Yo-ho Rojo! Coming into our 12th season, Rojo Beach Bar is still the casual kind of place a beach bar ought to be. 3 gorgeous acres and hundreds of feet of beachfront with great snorkeling so don't forget your bathing suits and masks! Food is ordered AT THE BEACH BAR or by the runner outside the bar (there are NO waitstaff). Reason being is we are small and we don't get too crowded...a plus for you! So, we prefer to under promise and over deliver! If it's a typical day, you will be served and our staff is great! If it gets REALLY busy, we might be short-handed behind the bar, in which case you might not have a dedicated "runner/sever." Dishes are served family style, one or two at a time, with the idea that they're going to be shared over frosty drinks and lively conversation. There are no "appetizers" or "mains" per se, just tasty food. Our staff is small and everything is made from scratch. Sometimes this translates into a bit of a wait. If you are waiting for food, we suggest you enjoy a cocktail. If you are waiting for a cocktail, we suggest you relax and enjoy the view! Pet the dogs. Play some games. Happy Hour DAILY from 3pm - 5pm! And QUALITY sushi on Saturdays!
