Went to dinner here with my husband before our son's football game in the area. We arrived 30 minutes early for our 7pm reservation but were seated anyway. Our server was friendly and eager to please. He checked on us frequently and a manager also stopped by to make sure we didn't need anything. We ordered all appetizers. The menu... More

Excellent service! We enjoyed our meal in the bar area and the service,e was great. We ordered salads and burgers and everyone really enjoyed their meal as well as the beers. Definitely a good location to spend an afternoon with friends and family.

We saw a lot of positive comments about this place, but after dining here I can tell you it was nothing to brag about. Spotty service and underwhelming entrees summed up a very mediocre night. I can see it's sort of old school, but old and tired may be a better description.

We have eaten at this restaurant many times, most recently last night. I had the Bayou Shrimp and my husband had the shrimp and grits. Both dinners were very good and came out in a timely manner. Service was good and pleasant!! The decor is nice, kind of gives you a lodge feel. The dining room is open and if... More

We live nearby, and have probably had dined here 100 times over 20 years. Never had a bad meal, bad service, or a bad experience. Often crowded, and can be noisy. Highly recommended.

By far the best thing at this restaurant is the Salmon, The salmon is organic and is phenomenal, especially in the salmon caesar salad, and the Turkey and Mushroom burgers are very good aswell. The atmosphere is very well done and the booths are very large. Overall for the money (which is very well priced) the food is 5 star... More

Just about everything was perfect. Made our reservation, table was ready, no wait. The service was excellent as was the food. I did the soft Taco's, girls had salad and there was Prime Rib. Everyone was happy. Had a small delay in getting our check and we needed to make the concert but when they realized our timing were very... More

The place is good. Above average bar food. But the place is so dark. Coming in from the bright sun it takes forever for your eyes to adjust. The service could use an uplift to be a bit faster. After work you usually need a drink rather quickly. It seems like Kim from ATL reality shows goes quite a bit.... More

You can always count on good food and good service when you go to the Village Tavern. I especially love the Cuban Sliders and the Asian Ahi Tuna Salad....yum yum. The wine selection is incredible. Something for everyone on that menu.

My wife and I have frequented The Village Tavern since it opened in Alpharetta. Our favorite meals are the Grouper Hemingway, the shrimp "ala Rick" and the steak au poivre. The Tavern house salad is also a great choice. To be honest, we haven't had a bad meal there. The bar area can be quite loud, but the dining room... More
