You might have to get off the through-highway to find this place but like all the locals who eat here, it is worth the trouble to find. A meat and two or more veggies with delicious dessert are all home cooking at its best. Food was wonderful; and I don't give many "fives" but this is truly a 5! Really... More

I have been dining at Pearly's for breakfast and lunch for years. There is never a time I find the employees too rushed to be nice especially Carl, who is always checking to be sure everyone has been helped and received their order.

I had my first breakfast at Pearly's last week (11/2016). I see why Pearly's has existed in Albany so long. The service was organized, fast and professional. The breakfast was super delicious and not expensive. Moreover, a best friend of ours told the owner he would pay for the meals! Our friend introduced us to the owner and he was... More

Great place for breakfast and lunch. Generous portions for reasonable price. Known as a local legend for breakfast, but actually lunch is awesome as well.

This is a local restaurant that is pretty popular. The breakfast food is good and every lunch is like Sunday dinner. I like everything there. The have specials every day. Porkchop day is the favorite at the office. The deserts are tasty and uniquely southern.

Look at the other excellent reviews....we couldn't have said it better! Meet folks. Staff is organized/synchronized like no other. Food is GREAT home cooking. Hot, fresh, delicious. Vegetables....OMG! Everything from limas to rutabaga to squash casserole, with the ubiquitous southern mac and cheese. And friendly.....which helped, since we were here as evacuees from Hurricane Matthew. Thank you Pearly's, and thank... More

When anyone travels to Albany, and they want a real lunch with vegetables, I recommend Pearly's. It is an old diner style restaurant, and if I go inside, it reminds me of a cafeteria. They are always packed full. However, their food is consistently good. For lunch, you get meat and vegetables, bread and a drink or an all-vegetable plate... More

Whether it is breakfast or lunch, the food is always delicious! One of Albany's favorite "Go TO" Places for good southern comfort food.
