We had dinner for the first time at the Acworth Fish Camp last night with our son and his family and really enjoyed it. The view is beautiful and it's a great place to go if you want to relax and enjoy the lake - kind of like camping on the lake without having to actually put up a tent,... More

Food was okay, everything seemed to be fried or out of stock the two times we dined in for dinner. The location is great, it's down fall, like previous owners will be due to lack of service.

AFC is under new owner/management and had hoped our first visit would have reflected better service and better food quality. It did not. My wife had a fried hot dog wrapped in bacon. I ordered a hamburger and specifically requested no cheese. Ordered it medium well done. The hot dog was tough. My hamburger came out with cheese - sent... More

The oysters were recommended highly by the manager. They were deep fried for too long. Service was adequate but the wait was too long.

1st visit. Arrived at 5:30pm and place was about 3/4 full. Waitress seemed overwhelmed with just four of our nine guests. Group ordered entrees at 5:50pm. At 6:30pm informed by our waitress the food order was just started in the kitchen and it would be an hour before we'd see our meals... they were backed-up??? The place was now 1/2... More

I don't know why a place like this would close for "the season". People in the area don't stop eating and seafood is usually shipped in anyway. With such a nice deck overlooking the lake, this place should be open year-round. Drop down some clear plastic on the sides and crank up some outdoor, infrared heaters. We were really disappointed... Wife heard about this place through a friend and we got there on their last day - bummer!!! Great food but limited supply due to circumstances. Worst news was that owner is selling so who knows if they will reopen next year- sure do hope so.

We had high hopes for this little place on Lake Allatoona. Not high like in upscale. Just looking for basic bar food while we look at the lake. Ok it was Saturday around 6 so it was pretty crowded but they only had two wait staff for about 50 people. Kitchen must have been backed up. My French dip sandwich... More

Went on Thursday wing night. Food was good, beer was cold and the view was great!! Not a bad place to eat once you come off the lake or just to sit outside for the evening.

Last visit 7/3/14, wing night. Arrived shortly after 8PM. Closing time was 9PM. Understaffed and out of several items including WINGS. Watched many people arrive after our party of 10, get served, and leave while we still hadn't even placed our orders. Cleared our own table. Then food came out a couple at a time resulting in the last two... More
