The oysters were good. We ate on the deck and unfortunately there were 2 inebriated men, which was very unpleasant.

The food is good but it is a little pricey for what it is--especially at lunch. The setting on the river is nice but, unless you sit outside the air conditioning, you don't get a very good view. The service is very good--the staff is very friendly and attentive. It is a fun place to take out of towners for... More

and a part of a local restaurant dynasty. Staff doesn't remember regulars or particularly attentive. Great views and outdoor porch but careful in mosquito season~ it is FLORIDA after all. Tasty and fresh... Even if local oysters are not always served due to availability.

This place was awesome. Great seaside rustic decor. Oysters were large and delicious. I had the conch cakes which were the best I have ever had. Everyone else at the table had different types of fish which were all great. Staff was friendly and quick. Look forward to our next visit!!

Friends highly recommended this place for the food and price point. Once we got to Apalachicola and checked out the other places, we decided to give this a go. Up The Creek is a few blocks away from the other establishments but I think this adds to its uniqueness as well as its ability to offer food at a reasonable... More

Situated on the bank of the Apalachicola River, Up the Creek is a homey, casual place that served up some great local cuisine with an amazing view. Being that this town is the oyster capital of the world, trying a dozen–-or two--is mandatory; when in Rome, right? Killer conch cakes with key lime sauce were on the menu along with... More

Don't let the relaxed atmosphere fool you. The food is seriously good. The servers and bartender made great suggestions. We liked it so much we went twice over the weekend. I really liked the fish stew and sweet potato fries. Everything tasted fresh and homemade.

We went here for lunch. Since I don't eat seafood I ordered the burger. The burger comes undressed and you can dress it at the salad bar. Very good burger. My husband had the oysters on the half shell with the cheese and jalapeños which he said were delicious. In fact he wanted to return just for the oysters. Definitely... More
