This is the best Sushi place in Altamonte Springs and I would say maybe around the entire Orlando area. They have the best Sushi that will be prepared for you in an open kitchen, so from your table you can see the chef making the sushi. And it's so delicious. They also have some really special appetizers and rolls that you don't find on many menu's.

Nice ambiance, the food is fresh with reasonable sized portions. The service is good with a friendly wait staff. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I have been coming here for years! They have the freshest seafood around! We always sit at the sushi bar and we are greatly taken care of! They have the best happy hour as well. Monday happy hour is all day/night! HIGHLY recommend this place!

Me and my fiancé enjoy sushi and wanted to try a new place and we loved Ootoya Sushi. The service was great, food was great, the environment was pleasant, everything was just great! We order chicken hibachi and the soup and salad that came with the chicken hibachi was very delicious, not to mention the chicken hibachi and fried rice was awesome. I ordered the passion roll and he ordered the Ootoya roll. We would definitely go back and order it all again!

...And that's a lot when you only have a few days to spend in an area and you like trying different food places.
Really was the best sushi my husband and I found. We had lunch and dinner on different days. Service was good, food was excellent.
Lots of different rolls to choose from and I was happy to find vegetarian rolls as I don't eat meat or fish. My husband was happy with the variety of raw rolls.
Dessert was excellent as well!
Definitely recommend to any and everyone.

I have been to a lot of sushi places in Orlando, Apopka, Altamonte, and everywhere nearby to try to find that great sushi restaurant and this one is it. My friend told me how good it was so I tried it and it didn't disappoint. The ingredients were very fresh and there were lots of different rolls to choose from. The miso soup was great too. The customer service was also fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

Ootoya Sushi is the best sushi I’ve had by far. Every time I’m in the area, I make an effort to stop by Ootoya Sushi.
Service: The service was excellent. We were seated promptly and checked on often. We were also seated along the window overlooking the water outside, very pretty. Though it’s not a large restaurant, it has nice views outside and it has never been overly crowded while there.
Food: I absolutely love the sushi here. My family and I shared everything we ordered and it was delicious. We had the TNT, Spider, Ootoya, Philly, Spicy Shrimp, and Fried Oyster. The TNT was my favorite and the Fried Oyster was my second favorite.
We also had dessert which was very good. We had the Chocolate Lava Cake. The outside of the cake was slightly dry, but the middle was very moist. The ice cream it was served with was also great. The 2nd dessert was at Matcha ice cream sandwich. It was my favorite. The middle was sooo good and the outside waffles provided the best crunch.
I love Ootoya Sushi and I will be back for sure!

Super cute restaurant with very friendly and fast service ... even from
Hostess. Beer and wine only here. Parking lot looks super full but I had no problem parking. Dumplings good.
Best Edamame we have ever had. Hibachi was good - steak, chicken and shrimp. Definitely would go back. Booths with window view of lake are really nice.

Ate a bunch of various apps and some sushi. Was above my expectations. Decor is great and view was of the lake. Music hip. Waitress very attentive albeit slow at the time. Everything tasted fresh. I would go back for sure. Sushi chefs looked very detail oriented and serious about their craft.

Went for the first time to this restaurant, it was very nicely decorated and very clean. The food from sushi, salmon tartar to steak teriyaki was very good; attentive service and an overall favorable experience.

I went to Ootoya Sushi for the first time last night; everything about my experience was incredible. Our waitress Anastasia was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the monk fish foie gras; it was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful flavor. I also had salmon tartare with raw quail egg, rock shrimp tempura and several selections of sashimi. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. I will be going back again very soon!

This is absolutely my favorite sushi restaurant. The jalapeño yellowtail appetizer and their Ootoya signature roll are amazing. I have taken a few of my sushi snob friends there and they agree with me as well. If you like sushi, you will love this place. My sister likes the hibachi entrées as well and she said they are as good as Kobe steakhouse.
The staff is very friendly and service Service is very very good.
