Nonno’s has been my favorite Italian restaurant from the first visit. They are a family owned and operated restaurant and offer extremely tasty and authentic dishes, generous portions, fair prices and a personal touch that can be seen in everything they do. Tonight, when I thought they couldn’t get any better, they did - big time! My wife and I each ordered chicken marsala over linguini and a side garden salad. Included was a small loaf of bread and some pesto dipping sauce. We picked up our order at the curb and drove away. When we got home and opened the food bags, we discovered that there was no bread. I called Nonno’s to inform them what had happened, but I told them that I didn’t know what they could do about it. Without a moment’s hesitation, they told me that someone would immediately deliver the bread to my home - 5 miles away. 25 minutes later the missing bread arrived plus a very generous serving of tiramisu as a peace offering. It is this level of customer service and personal attention to quality that sets them far apart from their competitors such as Olive Garden. Nonno’s is truly a GREAT neighborhood restaurant and we will be back and back again.

After reading several excellent reviews, we decided to try this place out. we tried 2 times before success as they are closed on Monday and Tuesday and we are slow learners. In any case, it was well worth the wait. We are partial to good Italian food and finally found a reasonably priced place with outstanding food. It was only our first time but the two entrees we tried were excellent. The chicken Scallopini and the Tortellini Alla Panna Proscuitto, romano, and cream sauce. WE definitely will be back to sample the other offerings. We would have given a 5 but for 2 items. 1. The noise level was pretty high with a full hose and, 2. the speghetti cane with very little sauce and when i asked for a tad more, I got a good sized portion of sauce with an upcharge. Other than that the food was terrific.

Soooo good! We had one night in Orlando and found Nonna’s online. So glad we chose it! It doesn’t have the stand alone fancy restaurant facade ( located in a small off street mini mall) but the minute we entered the dark glass door we sensed good food and ambience. The small crusty bread loaves are amazing and made at a local bakery. First,we had mussels made in a tasty amazing garlic and wine ( from Italy). That used up one bread loaf! We ordered veal Marsala- amazingly tender veal and Market Fish ( red snapper) with pasta, Pine nuts and olives. Both so delicious! Gratefully, we were allowed to take the rest of our Italian red wine home with an order of homemade cannoli and slice of almond cake.

My daughter was a sever here several years ago. Prior to that, I had no knowledge of the restaurant. My daughter kept raving about their food so my husband and I decided to try it. We travel quite a bit and are probably food snobs to a certain degree. lol! We loved our food and visit the restaurant frequently. It has recently become a place we celebrate special occasions. The owners are very sweet and make sure to visit tables personally to see if you need anything. It is a small family-owned establishment in an unassuming strip mall. You may bring your own wine and they will charge you a very small corkage fee. It is close to home for us but I would travel across town just to eat here. Their lemonchello cake is out of this world!

So happy I was able to stop in with friends on Friday. Staff has always been knowledgeable and friendly. The meatballs are amazing and the sauce they are cooked in is perfect. The party ordered a few meals and then shared since some have never been there before. Carbonara, manicotti, lasagna, and chicken scallopini were all wonderful and more then enough to fill 5 people up. Of course I always get the meatballs and a salad.

I moved to Central FL from an area in upstate NY that is very Italian. I'm used to great Italian food and was very worried I wouldn't be able to find any in this area. Boy was I wrong. Nonno's is some of the best Italian food I've ever had, Everything I've tried there has been superb. The owner and his wife are always out schmoozing with the customers and making sure everything is to your liking. The staff is wonderful. The have this pesto dipping sauce for their bread that is so good! I can't get enough of it and many time think about eating it with a spoon after the bread is all gone. Wonderful restaurant that you should definitely check out.

I can't remember who suggested this restaurant but I know I was concerned upon entering a rather dark strip shopping center that looked a bit deserted. When I entered I was doubly concerned despite it being full and a wait. It was very plain and I thought rather uninviting. That aside.. it became our favorite place for dinner. We had a FABULOUS dinner and our waitress was such fun. The owner? came around to each table and talked and he was such a delight. It was a total success as I was in charge of finding places to eat each night of our one week stay with a group. The next night I was told to not even bother to find a new place - they wanted to return to Nonno's. Unfortunately we got there about 15 minutes before it closed and they were already cleaning up. I said we would visit the next night but much to our dismay they were closed Sunday and Monday .. or was it Monday and Tuesday? I don't remember. I only know that we did not get to go back due to our schedule and we were beyond bummed. On our last night there .. with only my husband and me - we tried again but the wait was over an hour and even that was a guesstimate. We ended up going to another restaurant we were told was a "close" (NOT EVEN). So, if you have the opportunity to try this restaurant you need to TAKE IT. You will not be disappointed!

First time here but definitely not the last. The food was absolutely amazing. Pesto was best ever! Everyone who works here was super friendly from the moment we walked in the door. Nicole was our server and she was absolutely amazing and took care of our every need. Maria was so sweet and came to our table to see how everything was. The food was absolutely delicious it was hot and fresh and very authentic. We will definitely be back soon we enjoyed absolutely everything.

Went for lunch of both of the dishes we had were excellent. Bread before the meal was super good. Our meals came with a very nice salad with a house vinaigrette dressing that was delicious. The service was prompt and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They have a wide variety on the menu, so everyone can be happy. Do not let the location scare you away…. In an older plaza that is dated, but the restaurant itself is nice inside and clean.

We came here based on positive word of mouth. We were not disappointed in the least. The carbonara was out of this world. So was chicken piccata. The bread and pesto was out of this world. Very friendly atmosphere. Although we didn't try the desserts, they are home made and the people at the next table said it was delicious.

Food, service, friendliness … all excellent. Date and I split a three-color salad. Highly recommend! One of the specials was spinach ravioli with a pink sauce. Excellent. This restaurant was full, even at 3:00 in the afternoon. That says it all.

One word describes our evening at Nonno's, magnificent. My friend and I were looking for an Orlando gem and we found the perfect place. The food was deliciously made with love and care. Every bite was so flavorful. We both sat there savoring our food. We began with the bread and pesto. The pesto was so good we even dipped our calamari in it. Our entrees were Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and Lasagna. The flavors were soooo good. You could tell that fresh ingredients were used in the dishes. I cannot say enough how much we loved our food. The owner came to our table several times. He was so warm and welcoming. A perfect compliment to our meal. Definitely put Nonno's on your list.

My daughter, granddaughter and I stopped here while on a girl’s trip to the Orlando area and we could not have made a better choice. This is a local spot with authentic Italian food from many family recipes. I had lasagna, which was enough for two or maybe even three people, my daughter had the Tortellini Allá Panna and my granddaughter had chicken fingers and a Caesar salad. All three of us said it was the best we had ever had anywhere. The bread that is served at the beginning of the meal is great too! I chose soup rather than salad and it was amazing. It was chicken vegetable but unlike anything I have ever had. Service was great, experience was great and the food was amazing.

Two of us walked in about noon and were seated immediately (although it was starting to fill up). Service was outstanding - server was attentive and helpful. Wonderful chicken marsala - server helped box leftovers and have enough for another meal. Most pastas around $14. Womens bathroom lock was a bit wobbly - so probably check on that.

Great food, great staff and great prices. Family operated Mom and Pop restaurant. The prices are very reasonable. You even get a soup orb salad included with your meal. Everyone in there seemed to know each other. Can’t wait to go back
