About
BouNom ("BOO-nam") is a celebration of family. Two sisters who love to travel the world. In the process of seeing all the sights, our favorite past time was to consume every pastries we came across. Parisian pastries became our favorite and we wanted to share! French to southern pastries from croissants to carrot cakes. Seeing is believing! Stop by in person and see our selection of pastries.

Just...wow! I've never thought you could describe baked goods as "refreshing" but here we are. Bakeries normally love piling on the sugar to cover their lack of quality. But not these ladies. Everything I've had tastes light, clean and refreshing. Not sickly sweet like other local bakeries. Prices are very fair for such high quality baked goods. Thanks for making us delicious comfort food just when we could all use a little extra comfort.

I enjoy every pastry I have had at BouNom. The pastries are delicious. The cinnamon bun is the size of my face.There is a reason I go to a speciality store and not buy pastries from my local grocery store. I will not walk into a porsche dealership and ask them to sell a porsche for the price of a Honda.😊
Go try BouNom pastries and drinks for yourself!!!

We’ve visited four times since they opened. I’ve had buttermilk tarts, croissants, biscuits brown butter cookies, crepe brûlée, truffles and many lemonades. A bit pricey, but you pay for what you get. The flavor of their baked goods is unparalleled. Photo is from before the pandemic when in dining was permitted. The family running thr bakery is kind, their service is excellent, and I’m glad to support such a hard working DELICIOUS small town establishment. My family LOVES Bounom.

At first we were excited to try the new neighborhood bakery, until we had to pay $11 for two garlic chive biscuits.
The biscuits were fine, above average. The prices though are laughably high and pretentious. You’re a bakery in Riverdale farms, price your items more fairly - especially now during this pandemic.

Glad we stumbled upon this bakery while visiting Avon. BN's croissant selection is huge and diverse. In addition to the traditional version, the bakery offers pistachio chocolate, almond chocolate, vanilla cream cheese, country ham and more. We opted for the yummy hazelnut option and was not disappointed.
In addition to the French classics, there is a menu selection honoring the owner's Texas upbringing. The Southern decadence choices includes Southern pecan sticky buns, jalapeno biscuits and other goodies.
For those who want more than a sweet moment, savory lunch sandwiches round out the menu.

BNC makes really good bake goods as they use the freshest of fresh ingredients. Their raisin scone was "short" and had a crumbly texture and did not a tough consistency. Service was friendly and helpful. Glad I stopped by for this morning delight experience.

Amazing baked goods that delight with each bite and take you back to the bakeries in Paris! I have sampled scones, tarts, muffins and savory items and all of them were exceptional. The place is busy and usually sells out but this is for good reason. I enjoy coming to this shop and seeing the welcoming and friendly staff. The small cafe is beautifully decorated.

I'd heard great things about this place and decided to give it a try while I was in the area, and wow! Really sublime pastries in a quaint, quirky bakery. The almond croissant was divine; I bought the brown butter cookie and the wildflower honey buttermilk biscuit to eat at home, and they were also amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and didn't rush me out when it took me a while to decide what to order. I also had a lavender latte, which I don't see offered in may places.

I have intended to visit BouNom for a long time. Finally made it, and I am blown away! Got there 30 minutes before they opened on a Saturday, with a line already forming.
When I got into the bakery, the aroma wafted over me, and the offerings looked so incredible, I wanted one of everything they had. It was Valentine's weekend and I limited myself to a pair of 3 different selections for my wife and me. Just finished the chocolate croissant, and I am absolutely convinced I will happily stand in line many more times. This is a game changer. As good as anything I have had in Paris - or anywhere else, and better than most. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would give it six stars if I could. Outstanding!

I'm so excited to review this amazing French bakery right in the heart of the Farmington Valley! It's a gorgeous day in CT and I saw a friend mention BouNom Bakery in Avon, so we packed up the kids and checked it out. Oh my gosh! Talk about decadent, classic French baked goods right in our own backyard. No need to drive to NYC, to take your taste buds on a culinary adventure. The service is pick up only until June 1st, but it's worth the effort. We literally sat in our car enjoying the food while chatting with one of the owners.

I stopped by BouNom Bakery today and certainly glad that I did. While it was closed , the owner, Kamala, greeted me and gave me goodies to try. Kamala’s customer service is superb. Only wish all businesses had owner like her. Friendly , knowledgeable,accommodating,etc.etc. I tried portions of a banana, chocolate muffin and a chocolate croissant . Decadent and delicious. Not to mention the delicious and very fresh peach lemonade/ice tea she gave me.
I can’t wait to try their other delicacies ......maybe I’ll even go back tomorrow. It’s that good ! Do yourself a favor and go to BouNom. You’ll be glad you did. High quality bakery goods at fair prices.

If you haven’t tried BouNom Bakery yet you are missing out.
Their cinnamon buns are the best around and they are huge. Also tried their lemon coconut square which wonderfully tart and tasted just like summer.
BouNom is now our go to for pastries.

Was taken to Bounom by my daughter on a recent visit to Avon. It is striking in design both outside and inside with a friendly welcoming feel. We had cinnamon buns which were absolutely amazing and coffee. Had a chat with the owner about how to make flat white coffee and the result was by far the best flat white I had whilst in the US. A must go to place.
