Lucky to find a place on a Sunday for dinner, with a reservation. Recommeded. Casual, quaint atmosphere, nicely done. Service was good, and prices reasonable. We ordered lobster mac & cheese, short ribs, steak salad, and clam chowder. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

The best restaurant I had tried in the area. I visited it with a friend for dinner. Our server, Alexa, was kind and attentive. The food was good. Albeit slightly pricey for the quality. The springs rolls were tasty, the salmon and risotto could have...been brilliant if not for the stodginess of the risotto, and slightly too much garlic. The tiramisu was far too sweet. There was too much chocolate sponge, not enough mascarpone filling, and the cream straight out of a can - which does is add to the quality or the taste.More

Christmas Eve dinner with the family… Nice establishment, friendly staff, more than accommodating. The food portion sizes were within reason for the price. The family ordered a variety of different dishes. The steam mussel pot was delicious but the broth was even better - good...thing they gave bread to soak it all up. The lobster mac and cheese, lobster salad sandwich, pan-roasted salmon, surf and turf tacos and rigatoni were also tasty but not as good as the mussel pot that was the best. I would definably recommend the eggplant stack, calamari, and buffalo cauliflower for appetizers. If I were to go back again I would defiantly try a different “Copper Pot” or one of their burgers.More

Stopped by th day with a few friends. Nice clean restaurant with character. We shared a lobster Mac and cheese for an app. I had a lobster burger, my friend had a brisket burger and a cheese burger . They we cooled to perfection. There...was a decent selection of beer. The restrooms could have been cleaner. Overall the food was good a little on the pricey side. I would go back again and recommend stopping by.More

The food was okay for bar food, but make no mistake, it's bar food. The Service was terrible. The Staff will take orders from people they know before customers who came first. Even if they wait on you first, their friends will be half way...through their meal before you see your food. Unacceptable!More

Looking for a place to get takeout food, we found the Copper City Bar and Grill online. A co-worker and I both ordered Grandma B's Steak Sandwich. It sounded good - "marinated shaved rib-eye steak, with smoked gouda, and carmelized onions." $15.95 for each sandwich;...we were thinking of something like a Philly cheesesteak. You get a side dish - the choices are a little salad or a couple kinds of fries. When my co-worker returned with the bag, we knew something was wrong - it was so light, not even half the weight one would expect. The sandwiches tasted decently good, not great but okay, no real problem there. But it's just two regular pieces of bread with the meat, etc., in-between. At this rate, we'd each need 3 sandwiches to get filled up. So, lesson learned and a big "OUCH..." on the price and the size.More

We were looking for a local restaurant which would take care of 4 different types of pallets. the Copper City bar and grill is just that. We ordered Lobster mac and cheese, a burger, salmon and mussels with coconut curry. All were amazing. I had...the mussels, have eaten them all over the world I can tell you these were among the best. The broth could be sold as a soup by itself I could not get enough of it. The mussels were cooked perfect. the salmon was excellent as was the burger. The lobster mac and cheese was a great balance of cheese, mac and plenty of lobster. The restaurant itself is smaller and I would imagine it's crowded at dinner service. Definitely a great find and a place we will go back to.More

We were looking for a nice plate to have dinner and decided to check out Crave in Ansonia - we walked in and the sound was DEAFENING with a guitarist in the very small bar/eating area and they wanted to seat us 1 table away...from him. I couldn’t even hear myself think and had to get out of there. Conveniently just up the block we saw Copper City Bar & Grill and we decided to go in. There were quite a few people there and the atmosphere was MUCH BETTER and much “calmer” - we had a fantastic meal! Our server, Edward was so friendly and nice that i can’t wait to go back. The food was awesome and the service was great - i highly recommend Copper City Bar & Grill. LarryDMore
