I had the fish tacos and other than they were greasy shell it was very good. The wife had a quesdilla with prawns and shrimp and was very good. Pico de galo is very different with cabbage in it.

Good food & service - some small improvements would be nice

My wife and I tried this place for the first time last weekend. It is close to our home and based on reviews we thought we would give it a try. We went about 5:30 pm on a Saturday evening and were seated right away - it did get more crowded around 6:00 or so. Someone brought chips and salsa to our table as soon as we were seated - very nice. While my wife enjoyed the chips I thought they were a bit to thick, pretty tasteless and had virtually no salt on them. I much prefer Tostitos Cantina chips from the bag over these. I thought the salsa was very good. For our meal my wife had the quesadillas off the appetizer menu (with beef) and I had the taco salad with the shredded chicken. Both of these were good - again, just small comments on improvements I'd like to see. The taco salad had no beans, corn or tortilla strips at all, just a few tomatoes and the sour cream and guac that came with it was like a teaspoon of each, Is it really that expensive to give you a decent sized portion of sour cream and guac? The shredded chicken in the salad was excellent. For dessert we split the fried ice cream, which was excellent, but they left off the whipped cream. I didn't realize it was supposed to come with whipped cream until I saw other customers getting it and looked on the menu again. So, all in all I thought the place was good and would return. These small things I mention detracted from the experience and I some minor changes would move it up a notch or two in my book. The service was very good throughout.

Location was a bit suspect, but the food was well worth it. Menu was great, food was delivered hot and service was impeccable. Next time in Denver/Aurora I would go there.

Perfect lunch

This place was a recommendation from a local coworker. We were in town on business and looking for a local Mexican food that was close. Inside and out very simple. Inside clean and comfortable. We were promptly greeted and seated. Service was great. A full menu, but not too over whelming. I ordered shrimp tacos with rice and beans. Really good. Perfect size for lunch. Coworker orders steak quesadilla. It was big and delicious. Soda and water came out in large glasses which was great! We would definitely return next time in town.

Bad Food, Bad Customer Service

Food order was wrong but they didn't care. Food was soggy and really inedible. Would not give a refund. If you eat in the store you can send it back. Not as easy when you take it home. They say it is Mexican food--Not like any Mexican cuisine I've ever had - including in Mexico. Won't eat at this restaurant and cannot recommend it for both reasons.

Nice surprise

We have been eating mex food across the street and decided to try this place. I had the beef chimichanga and it was excellent. My friend had the steak burrito and said it was very good. Chips and salsa were excellent and free. The only reason I did not give this place a 5 star is because they would not honor a $5 off coupon we had because we had already had happy hour prices ($1 off) on the margaritas. Guess next time, no drinks, ha ha. Regardless will go again and try something else.

Nice atmosphere, good service and good food.

Atmosphere is important to us and this place is warm and colorful. The service was friendly and prompt. My friend was very happy with the Huevos Rancheros, he substituted the rice with potatoes. I had the Steak Fajita Burrito, very tasty, I ordered a small side of green chili to go with! Overall a good experience, we will return...

Great food

We ordered online for carry out. The prices were good and the food was even better. Hopefully next time we'll get to sit down at the restaurant to eat. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Mexican restaurant.

No Fajitas, no desert

I'm there at least once a week for lunch. Varied menu, not just Fajitas. Prices reasonable. Two TV's, but no sound. Salsa is good, chips ok. Service is business friendly and efficient but not overly attentive. Ambiance is ok but nothing fancy. Mixed crowd representing this Aurora neighborhood - young working professionals, seniors, and some families.

First visit. Nice small, clean restaurant. Staff was friendly and polite but not timely. Food was good but stand with other similar restaurants. Fairly quiet, which was nice. Had two TV's for watching sports. Free chips and salsa. I will be back again someday.

Not bad at all

I came here with some friends and we were seated immediately. The place wasn't crowded and we got water soon after being seated and the waitress introduced herself. We ordered and the food was at our table in about 10 minutes and it looked delicious. My only (small) issue was that the food wasn't really well seasoned. It didn't taste bad but it didn't pop in your mouth. However, the flan that I had was amazing. You HAVE to try it if you come.

Nice Mexican restaurant with very good food. Went on a Friday night, sat on the patio, good music. Totally enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Very good and relaxing. Good drinks too!
