Had late lunch. The fried fish and dinuguan were good. They are closed every Wednesday now since new management.

Chow Sun is a really hidden gem in Aurora. It's almost enough to be a "hole in the wall," but it is really good food. The prices are reasonable, as well. It's a good place to go into solo, or to go into with friends....More

Sometimes cooking is just inconvenient, but you need a fix! Pork or chicken adobo, pancit bihon, pinakbet, lumpia, and lechon. They even honored my request for patis, sliced tomato and onion. Counter/table service in a clean environment. Waithelp, and cooks are personable, if quiet.

It was very nice and clean. I'm not a big fan of Fillipino food, but my wife liked it very much. She had dinuguan and lechon kawali. I ordered a shrimp and vegetable dish which was good, but I prefer my shrimp shelled.

I have completely fallen in love with Chowsun. It's close to my house and it's a really good deal for the prices. My parents were stationed in the Philippines back in the 70's, so I always was eating Filipino food growing up. This is probably...More
