I've been eating at Chowsun since they opened and I'm glad that they've survived the pandemic, so far. Their prices have gone way up but the food is good enough to justify it, in my opinion. They have authentic food and they're really good at...following special requests.More

Had late lunch. The fried fish and dinuguan were good. They are closed every Wednesday now since new management.

Chow Sun is a really hidden gem in Aurora. It's almost enough to be a "hole in the wall," but it is really good food. The prices are reasonable, as well. It's a good place to go into solo, or to go into with friends....Also, plus side, there is Launch Pad microbrewery in the same plaza. Grab some Chow Sun and walk down to get some craft beer.More

Sometimes cooking is just inconvenient, but you need a fix! Pork or chicken adobo, pancit bihon, pinakbet, lumpia, and lechon. They even honored my request for patis, sliced tomato and onion. Counter/table service in a clean environment. Waithelp, and cooks are personable, if quiet.

Good tasting food that is different from the typical Asian fare available locally. Thai and Filipino cuisine. Chicken skewers were super tasty. A bit of a wait for takeout food. It’s Tucked in at the end of a strip mall but I’m happy to have...found it. Hours are a bit limited.More

Visited Denver while on vacation. I grew up in the Philippines so I am always looking for a place that makes good Filipino dishes. This place is a gem. Their menu was quite extensive and included hard to find items like Pinapaitan and Pinakbet. The...owner is Thai, but worked for the prior Filipino owner. Her cooking does her credit. I recommend the pork bbq on a stick and the adobo. She also made fresh calamansi juice. She also serves Thai, so if you aren't fond of Filipino you will probably enjoy the Thai. I will definitely come back again.More

Don't get me wrong, I like Sunburst, but since going to Chow Sun, I have not been back. Why? Well first off, it's delicious. Seriously everything is amazing, authentic, always stove hot. Second of all, the portions are a lot better as well. It's reasonably...priced and you get a lot of food! Enough to take home certainly. Third, the service is speedy. You get fresh food made quick! But back to number one, it's amazing. My favorite dish is the Pancit Canton, followed closely by the pork sig sig. The lumpia, bbq skewers, sinigang, lechon kawali, seriously everything is wonderful and as close to made by your Filipina grandmother as you're going to get. I will absolutely go back over and over again!More

It was very nice and clean. I'm not a big fan of Fillipino food, but my wife liked it very much. She had dinuguan and lechon kawali. I ordered a shrimp and vegetable dish which was good, but I prefer my shrimp shelled.

As a Filipina who's new in Denver I was excited to find out about this place. I went there for lunch with my cousin and her BF. We ordered the Sisig, Kare Kare, Adobo and Lumpiang Shanghai. I wasn't very impressed with the food. Sisig...was probably the better dish but Kare Kare beef was not very tender. Adobo chicken was a bit watery and blander than most Adobo dishes I have had (Homemade is always better)... Lumpia also didn't taste so fresh. They did offer unlimited rice which was a plus. The Thai milk tea was good. Overall it was an OK visit but not something to tell mom about.More
