Authentic, fresh, tasty German cuisine with delicious beer. Friendly and accommodating wait staff and a fun albeit pricey little German "laden" to purchase some speciality items.

It's hard to find German food - let alone good German food - but if you're in the Aurora area, stop at Helga's and you won't be disappointed. We went because it was close to was within walking distance of our hotel, but in the future, I'd drive to get there. The staff are very friendly and efficient - we... More

I am German, so I am probably more critical than some about German Restaurants. My hubby found Helga's when he was travelling to Denver a couple of years ago and when I joined him he brought me there. I can honestly say it is the best German food I have ever had outside of Germany. The Schnitzel if crispy, the... More

We are always looking for good German restaurants. We recently went to the Highlands Ranch, Colorado Octoberfest where Helga's was the restaurant serving food. This led us to try out the restaurant itself. We had three generations eating that night. My husband and myself, our son and daughter-in-law, and our two young granddaughters. We chose Thursday night which is when... More

I have gone to Helga's for years. The food and service are very good. The atmosphere is friendly. They have decorated the restaurant very tastefully. I would recommend this restaurant for a dining pleasure.

Found Helga's on trip advisor and felt like something different! It's a good choice for German fare! We shared two apps - potato pancakes and sausage/brat followed by a shared veinerschnitzel - all were good and spätzle was excellent! Good beer and excellent service....we will return!

Helga's serves dishes that remind us a lot of our visits to Germany. The setting is like a modern German stube (pub), and the menu is authentic. Portions are substantial and flavors are great, even if the chef can get a bit heavy-handed with the salt in the spaetzli. The mixed sausages and potato pancake appetizers were perfectly delicious, and... More

Dropped in for lunch with a friend. I had a sausage sandwich with sour kraut. Very good and filling. I'll go back.

Met five friends here on a Saturday evening before heading up to ski on Sunday. Have eaten two other times on past visits to Denver, and is still quite good and consistent in food quality and service. We did make reservations and table was available upon arrival. Fairly busy atmosphere. Server was attentive to us, prompt service, and took time... More

Experience the enchantment of quaint small towns, vineyards and farmlands as far as the eye can see while majestic medieval castles stand grandly in the distance. Absorb the delicious aromas of hearty, savory food being lovingly prepared in family kitchens sifting through open windows. Welcome to Helga's German Restaurant and Deli. Experience authentic German home-style food and drinks with served with a side of "Old World' charm. Helga's was created in 1989 as a mother-daughter venture with a small, four-table restaurant. After spending their childhood in Germany, siblings Herbert and Helga have continued the tradition of their mother, Berta. Today, Helga's has expanded but has not departed from its humble beginnings, gathering a large loyal following of wonderful customers. Helga, Herbert and family maintain a warm and friendly environment where you can sit down to an authentic and delicious home-style German meal with family and friends. In the true spirit of a family-owned restaurant, Helga and Herbert are directly involved in ensuring the satisfaction of each and every one of their customers. They are happy to offer menu or deli suggestions, or even take a moment to just stop by and chat with you in German or English.
