Based on the strength of the reviews we read here, we decided to visit Mt. Fuji for dinner. We're from Los Angeles/San Francisco (which means we have deep experience with both truly authentic Japanese fare and tourist fiascos) so when we walked in we quickly concluded that the hibachi side of the restaurant as a middle of the road effort.... Sushi is one of my favorite foods, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Mt. Fuji has fantastic Sushi! Most people come for the Teppanyaki, and frankly, that's pretty much the same wherever you go these days. We sit in the regular dining room and enjoy the sushi. There is a wall between that and the grills, so you're... More

So...Not the best, not the worst. This is my kiddos top choice for all special occasions. With kids we always sit at a hibachi. When it's just my husband and I we sit at the sushi bar. Exactly what you expect in both quality and price.

Was somewhat busy, but to be expected, as the food here is good, service was also very good and staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Seemed a bit busy though. Large dining area and enjoyable time.

The best food and great service. Any dish is sure to please. I am sure to go back for any occasion. Went for my wife's birthday and they did make it extra special.

Went with friends. We usually enjoy another hibachi place in town, but this was at least comparable to it and in some ways better. We'll definitely return.

I'm not sure where in a land locked area you can get better sushi! They never disappoint when it comes to sushi. We have been about three times now. And the fried rice is the best ever. I also love the beers. Service is good, I have no complaints there. The katsu is lacking.... No cabbage, and no ground sesame... More

We did ate sushi and hibachi. You know how they usually make the customers catch a shrimp? They threw broccoli instead--Cheap and weird. They moved us in and out. The food was average with the same prices as most hibachis. No charm or atmosphere.

Best steak even on hibachi side. Love everything but the salad. Not a fan of the dressing. Staff is very friendly. Pricey but good
