Waited exactly the 30 minutes we were told. Limited menu, but service was exceptional and the food was good. Expensive as expected (food was about twice what you might normally play at home). Drinks are more reasonable.
We were fortunate to get seating at the restaurant without calling ahead fir a reservation. Though the menu was limited, the food we ordered was perfectly prepared. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient.
25 year locals in Aspen and this is our go-to spot. Hate to share, ha! Great cocktails, we’ll prepared food, most professional staff in Aspen. Part of Hillstone Group which ensures quality. Hard to get in but one of our towns best. Chicken sandwich, burger,...or macho salad are great. Smoked salmon app is good sized.More
I do not recommend eating here. The food was ok but staff does not care about customers who are a party of one. What happened to me today is a very inappropriate treatment of a customer. The staff brought a loud group of people, offered...them a table next to mine, and told them that I would be leaving and they could have my table as well. So next a drunk man from that loud group of people started harassing me and asking me when I would be leaving. Imagine that.More
We stopped by looking for a casual place to have snacks and a drink, and We were seated immediately at an outdoor table . We ordered a number of things to sample and each were delicious. Really enjoyed the meatballs, the kale salad we so...good we ordered a 2nd, and both the chicken and fish sandwiches were very enjoyable. The wine list offerings by the glass while not extensive had some very good selections that we enjoyed. Add in excellent service and it was a great experience.More
We were lucky enough to grab seats at the
bar before a show and had smoked salmon, Brussels sprouts and an Aspen Blonde; all of which were delicious!
Lawson was wonderful; kind, knowledgeable and speedy…we watched him crush the busy service bar without even breaking...a sweat!👍🏻
Chef John generously made time to ask how our food was and welcome us to the restaurant 💕
The White House Tavern is truly a place of solace where staff are genuinely kind, food is perfect every time, and we always leave wanting more of this magical experience ✨More
During our whitewater rafting experience, our tour guide suggested that we try the crispy chicken sandwich. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated outside along the street and it was a great experience. The sandwich was delicious but I am glad my wife...and I split it because it will definitely feed 2 people and we saved $21.00 on a 2nd sandwich. The disappointing thing about our visit was the service. We ran out of water a couple of times and had to wait on our check but the food was deliciousMore
They don’t take reservations but it’s a really cool place that you won’t mind hanging out having a cold amber beverage for a few minutes. Maybe a movie star will give you their table and you’ll have a great story to tell.
