I am not a steak eater typically, I had a hard time deciding on a filet or the halibut. I got the filet and it was delicious. I usually cut off fat and gristle from steak, there was none of it to cut off!

Began with the excellent wine list, thoroughly explained by the knowledgeable and friendly sommelier. Amazing appetizer choices (try Jimmy's special Mac and Cheese) followed by one of the best steaks ever. Service was friendly and very helpful. Can't wait to return.

Jimmy's, in addition to a great service, a very fun bar, a cozy environment, an unbeatable wine list , an unforgettable crab cake, a very juicy meat and lamb, offered me the best king crab I have ever had. The portion was enough for 2 . About 40$. Fair enough !

We had a wonderful experience at Jimmys. My husband and I were gifted a spontaneous date night out during our vaca by my visiting younger brother and his new wife. We have 3 young kids. We sat at the fantastic hotel jerome J bar scouring trip advisor trying to decide where to spend our golden hours! After passing by our... More

Couldn't get table so fought for a place at the bar. Food was OK, drink was OK, and service was nothing short of inattentive; and we were seated at the bar, really?

The food is rather disappointing . Ciopinno is oily , lobster Mac and cheese has no taste . I would not recommend to dine there .

We chose Jimmy's based on a recommendation from our hotel. What a delight. Rather than have a large dinner we both chose a salad and a starter - I had water melon and feta salad and crab cakes, husband had a stylish Caesar salad and lobster macaroni. You are also given warm pretzel breads with a mustard dip. We rounded... More

We were looking for a dinner place in Aspen in July, so the restaurants were crowding but not overwhelmingly so . We checked out Jimmy's and were seated outside , on a patio above the street. The location was great and we were able to view the mountains from our table. The menu was filled with steaks, seafood, salads and... More

We enjoyed a great dinner here at Jimmy's (located upstairs in the Mill Street Plaza). Not being big eaters, we often go with a couple of appetizers and salads. We had baby lamb chops with an add on baked lobster tail! Great wine selection!

Thank Lynn B

Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.
