I'm not a fan of giving bad reviews. Maybe this was an off night. But it was just awful. Mostly because of the tediously slow service. Apps came long before the drinks made it to the table. The menus sat on the table a good 45 min. We had to ask to order the mains. It probably didn't help that... More

Jimmy's is known for it's steak, which is excellent, but if you are trying to minimize the amount of red meat that you eat, what are the options? Usually, it is seafood, but I always wonder just why there is so much seafood available at these high end restaurants in the middle of Colorado. Last night, I had a delicious,... More

Located in Downtown and up an outdoor flight of winding stairs, this place is warm and welcoming. There's an indoor dining room, a great bar, and outdoor seating with heaters for chilly nights. We had a typical steakhouse meal of a caesar salad, a rib eye steak, and creamed spinach. Two of us shared everything and it was plenty. Topped... More

Great filets and fish. Had a wonderful experience. After dining out in Aspen many nights our group chose this as the overall best restaurant in town. The sundae with coffee ice cream was so good that one of our "proper " ladies turned the bowl up.

I am not a steak eater typically, I had a hard time deciding on a filet or the halibut. I got the filet and it was delicious. I usually cut off fat and gristle from steak, there was none of it to cut off!

Began with the excellent wine list, thoroughly explained by the knowledgeable and friendly sommelier. Amazing appetizer choices (try Jimmy's special Mac and Cheese) followed by one of the best steaks ever. Service was friendly and very helpful. Can't wait to return.

Jimmy's, in addition to a great service, a very fun bar, a cozy environment, an unbeatable wine list , an unforgettable crab cake, a very juicy meat and lamb, offered me the best king crab I have ever had. The portion was enough for 2 . About 40$. Fair enough !

We had a wonderful experience at Jimmys. My husband and I were gifted a spontaneous date night out during our vaca by my visiting younger brother and his new wife. We have 3 young kids. We sat at the fantastic hotel jerome J bar scouring trip advisor trying to decide where to spend our golden hours! After passing by our... More

Couldn't get table so fought for a place at the bar. Food was OK, drink was OK, and service was nothing short of inattentive; and we were seated at the bar, really?

The food is rather disappointing . Ciopinno is oily , lobster Mac and cheese has no taste . I would not recommend to dine there .

Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.
