My husband and I came here for drinks and sat at the bar. The bartenders were all friendly and very entertaining to watch. It did get pretty crowded in the bar area. We could quickly tell it was a place for people who actually live in Aspen, lots of upper class people.

We dinner with 9 people including 3 teenagers. Our server was unable to properly take our order and continually gave us the wrong items for our appetizers. When I mentioned it, they brought the correct dish, but charged us for all the mistakes. Trying to find a manager to rectify this was like a Laurel and Hardy act. It was... More

Good food, nice atmosphere, nice bar area, good service. This is a restaurant we hit every year on our annual trip to Aspen. On the pricey side if you are on a budget.

This was our family's first "nice dinner out" in Aspen, and it did not disappoint! The food and wine were spectacular. The service was top notch. Very attentive, but not overly intrusive. The restaurant offers a great variety to satisfy adults, to 16 year olds. The atmosphere is cozy and love the view over the courtyard...of course, we saw a... More

Luckily got a table for 11 on MLK day in spite of crowds. The table was round, not the typical long banquet type, which was much more fun with family and friends. Incredible crab cakes. Good lobster mac and cheese! Always a fun place to eat with good beef

Excellent food, good for couples having a night out or a romantic dinner. Small but friendly bar if you need to wait for a table. Close to down town and easy to get to, usually can find parking for a fee or go a few block and walk for free.

Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.
