We ate here and were quite pleased. Sat on the patio so we could watch the crowds. My husband had the Kurt Russell steak and said it was very good. I had the filet and it was so tender and delicious. Staff was very good and helpful. We would definitely eat here again.

We ate on their outside deck our first night there and the food and staff were wonderful, letting us in before they even opened. A great way to start our Aspen stay.

$$ to $$$ meal and drink options available. Both meals were delicious and at our table quickly. There's something for everyone.

Just a note about the wonderful folk behind the bar - Lauren and Kayla who is the master of the chocolate martini. These young women add a professionalism and friendly atmosphere to a real local bar. Lauren really helped me with an unusual request and we look to get back in the winter

Ambiance is nice but the trout I had was over cooked. Some had meat that I tasted. It was good but not great. I would try other places in town.

Here on a business trip and enjoyed a night out for drinks. Already ate dinner, so just had some cocktails. Great service on a very busy night. Great atmosphere

In contrast with the many modern and chic restaurants in Aspen, this is a homey place, perhaps in need of a good renovation! That being said it was a lively neighborhood spot that locals return to often. Great bar service.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food at Jimmy's, but the service was on a slower side. Most likely because there were a lot of patrons there. I especially like Baby Lamb Chops. Sitting on a second floor offers a view of Aspen's main street.

The restaurant just isn't what it used to be. The chairs look shabby, it's pretty loud, the food is OK. The bar is your best bet. The lamb chops are a good idea, just two, but delicious. And the the crab cake is always good. In high summer or winter season it's very crowded, but if you want to mix... More

One of the best restaurants for dinner and drinks in Aspen...great food, service, warm, friendly and fun. The crab cake appetizer is pricey but worth it, and the roasted lobster is excellent.

Description
Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.
