The leather braided handrails on the steps in set the tone for what followed. A classy, comfortable, luxurious & evening. Wonderful cocktails & service led us to Ahi tuna tartare in crispy taco shells- Duck quesadillas (come in for those both as bar snacks if you don't want dinner tho...) for dinner the snapper was light and lovely, the carnivore... My husband & I took my parents to eat for our last night in SnowMass. All of us got the Herb Crusted Trout w/lump crab, potato wedges, carrots & green beans. It was absolutely heavenly!! Our waiter was Paul & he was SO nice & very attentive... 1 of the best waiters we've had in a long time! For dessert,... More

We were celebrating our friend's retirement and wanted to make sure he had a special night. Pinons did not disappoint. The menu is not extensive but what they do have is executed to perfection which to me is the most important! We had the crispy oysters, Dover Sole( fabulous!), ribeye, fig salad and chocolate bread pudding. We spent approximately $125... More

Ok so it was my fault for not paying attention to the dollar signs when I found this restaurant on TripAdvisor. I was just stopped by the photos of their food and said "this is where we are eating"...long story short we didn't really want to spend $140 on dinner for just the two of us (alcohol and desert not... Always good to come back. I started with the crab and corn soup. A hearty and tasty appetiser full of chunky crab meat. Could have been a meal in itself. We had the chicken and the Colorado lamb rack for entrees. Both cooked perfectly and well presented. Service was attentive and friendly. Great ambience. Will be back.

We had dinner following the recommendation from a local friend. Food was excellent, very personable service. Wine suggestion was a great pairing for our food. Atmosphere was perfect for an evening between friends.

Always my favorite stop in Aspen. Piñons always has great food and service. Very small bar but good bartenders and drinks. Make a reservation in advance, usually full most nights. Nothing bad here. Great wine list as well.

I've enjoyed Pinons for years. Fabulous Colorado lamb and a wonderful tomato bisque soup (that was overpriced at $17). What was surprising was their unique and delicious tofu enchiladas.
