There's this dish "Press duck" on the menu that requires 24 hours advance order and is an order for two persons. I love that dish and have orders that many times in France. For a special dinner, I thought it would be nice to preorder that. The waiter showed us the whole cooked duck before bring it back to the... More

It's at The Little Nell, what more do you need to know! Top notch everything! Had the Short Rib Spring Rolls and a glass of the Val de Mer brut rose sparkling.

We have attended the Food and Wine Classic for four years and look forward to our final night dinner at Element 47. Aspen weather in the summer is blissful, so we always eat on the outdoor patio. The service is always spot on and they work with meticulous teamwork. This time, our party had the egg ravilio, the lamb chop,... More

Four of us had dinner here on a recent evening. This is a very nicely appointed dining room with ample space between tables so you’re always comfortable. We ordered drinks soon after being seated and a rolling bar came right up to the table and the young mixologist prepared perfect Manhattans for us, made with 10-year-old Michters bourbon. She also... Dining at element 47 is an experience not to be missed if you are visiting Aspen. The food, wait service, atmosphere, drinks, wine list and friendliness of management was all memorable. The cook describes his food as "New American cuisine infused with seasonal ingredients." The soup was presented beautifully and a once in a life time flavor as was the... More

Dined at Element 47 for my birthday dinner and from the time I entered The Nell it was like stepping into your own oasis. The service was top notch and the food was perfectly portioned and the taste is out of this world amazing. I must for fine dining in Aspen.

There are only 140+ Master Sommeliers in the United States. I saw 2 different ones in 3 days while dining at Element 47. This restaurant lives up to the lofty standards of a French Relais and Chateau. Let the sommelier take you on a wine expedition. They have the best Relais cellar I have seen outside of Burgundy. Forget the... More

Traveling on business with belly on CST so 4pm dinner meant eating in the bar area ordering off the bar menu. I had a Crab Cake, their Chicken Tortilla Soup and Salad with Grilled Shrimp. Sometimes the off season brings less than inspiring results to go with the off season specials. Not the case at Element 47 at the Little Nell last week. Yes, the off-season price enticed us but the service and meal were in mid-season form. Everyone from the hostess to the chef including the attentive wait staff were at the top of... More

It's been called Aspen's "finest spot to wine, dine and unwind." The name element 47 pays tribute to silver, the precious metal that first put Aspen on the map, and to the finest silver service cuisine -for breakfast, lunch, apres and dinner, 7 days a week. Our team of culinary and wine professionals is one very good reason we have enjoyed the rare 5-Star, 5-Diamond ranking for so long. Whether you ski in for lunch, drop in at the bar for a more casual rendezvous, or join us for the most special of occasions, you'll be greeted with warmth, not formality. You'll find the ambience - ceiling-height glass cases with some of our rarest wines, art by Michelle Grabner, Cameron Martin, Angel Otero, Scott Reeder, Philip Vanderhyden, Jose Lerma - as fine as the dining.
