Wonderful authentic southern Mexican food. Very pleasant atmosphere. Can't wait until they open their new place in Denver this summer.

Lots of tastes and creativity here. The lamb tacos, the crispy pork tacos, the guac with chipirones, the queso...all great starters. The duck as an entree is really good, as is the beef.

This hidden gem is one of Aspen's best restaurants. Latin America and Mexican High Cuisine. Best Cheesy Quacamole and homemade chips in town. Homemade Chicken Soup like your Latin Abuela would serve. I have eaten everything on this menu and there is not a bad...More

6 of us grabbed a booth & started with some great cocktails after a tiring day of ice skiing (not much snow in Aspen). The chilli wings (5 hot options), calamari & guacamole followed by very popular duck, delicious steak and pork belly tacos -...More

One of the few restaurants in Aspen that we've walked out of before being served. Seating is organized into three sections: a back-room with lots of tables that feels empty, a middle section with a few booth that are comfortable but hard to get, and...More

Top notch little restaurant with great food, margaritas, and atmosphere. Liked following the staircase to its cute, almost hidden entrance below street level. We were impressed by the salsas made from a variety of chiles that the chef imports from Oaxaca. The guacamole is also...More

The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant because we like spicy food. The food was very hot and spicy, but flavorless. I sent back my mojito which tasted like dishwater. My husband's margarita was watery. I got the Aztec soup --very spicy, but flavorless...More

I visited this restaurant with 8 friends - all of us from out of town -- during the food and wine festival. The outdoor seating was nice! As we were being seated, the hostess mentioned that a couple people had not reported to work, so...More

We always make Zocalito's our first stop in Aspen because we love the food, the staff and the convenient location. Thought it couldn't get any better, but we decided to try some new menu items and WOW! Mike continues to come up with new seasonings...More

Visually, a dive. Basement setting. Dimly lit. Didn't smell great. It was a leap of faith to sit down and order. But boy were we glad we did. This is not Tex Mex. And I'm not sure if it is authentic Mexican. But the flavors...More
