Beautiful bike ride ending at Woody Creek Tavern. Great chicken enchiladas, burgers, tacos, etc. Also great margaritas.

We had not been here for a few years but had to bring our out of town guests for the experience and funky ambience. This is no frills but the food is good and the wait staff is very friendly. This is one of the last true locals' spots left. It has kept its original character. Don't come here expecting... More

The bike ride here was enjoyable, but the food was just average at best. For the crowd there, I really could not tell you what the big deal was. No one in our party was really impressed with the place.

After an extended amount of time waiting for the hostess to seat us - no hostess in sight; after being ignored by a waitress?/hostess? serving tables right in front of us; after going into the bar (twice) looking for someone who could tell us how we might become customers,..... we got a table. We ordered drinks and opened the menu.... More

We made the trek out to Woody Tavern because my husband once had a grand evening there in the company of Hunter S Thompson, whose spirit now more or less hovers over the joint. Several large family groups started arriving for dinner as earl as 5 M, and all seemed beyond thrilled with their food and the setting (which is... More

Funky , fun and one thing in Aspen that never changes. I just love to sit on the outside deck and people watch. It's a must visit, but...... The service and the food aren't what they used to be. The hostess was great got us a table that was wheelchair friendly out side. The waiter was everywhere but with us,... More

This used to be really good not so much any more. We had the special, a garlic cilantro chicken that was marinated and grilled. It had no taste and if it touched a grill, it was a flat grill for about 10 seconds. The outside was not crisp like grilling and there was no taste.....no garlic at all. The salad... More

We rode our bikes from Aspen with Woody Creek Tavern being our destination. We were very much pleased with Woody Creek Tavern. The exterior might throw you off a little but, once there, you will feel the character of the place... laid back and relaxed. The service was fast and attentive but didn't seem overly friendly at first. But, I... More

Surprisingly, decent food and cheap. Fish Tacos were awesome, and friends burger was decent sized and juicy. Atmosphere, run down hole in the wall, living off post celebrity status. Waitresses not overly friendly, but I've had worse. Cash only!!! No credit cards. Worth it to try once for lunch,, as again, food was decent.

Thank Fernando B
