Dined outside where tables are closely intimate, and food is a little different in selections from the norm in town. Had a fig salad-very unusual and sweet/sour flavors. The chicken entrée was very tender, and was glazed in a light slightly sweet sauce with delicious carrots. Shared a sorbet dessert to round out the dinner.

Can't say the food was 5 star but really pretty good. Atmosphere on the patio was quite nice albeit a little tightly packed. I'd certainly recommend and would come again anytime

Wild Fig is my Aspen go-to for an amazing dinner in the restaurant or at the bar. I almost always sit at the bar because it has a great intimate vibe and the bartenders are always delightful. Everything on the menu is to love and the service is impeccable.

We ate out on the patio and could people watch. The menu was well rounded as well as the cocktail list & wine menu. Our server was attentive & friendly as were the other staff. Yes it was pricey, this is Aspen.

We visit the Wild Fig several times each summer when we are in Aspen and have always enjoyed it. We went there for dinner last night for the first time on our current trip. What happened to that place? The meal was dreadful. We felt like we were on the show Punked with the meal that was served to us.... More

This is a charming place with good food and knowledgeable servers. The menu is not extensive, but has a nice variety. The star of the evening for me was haricot verts which had been lightly seasoned and grilled. We ordered an appetizer platter to share (tuna tartare, octopus salad and ceviche), and it was delicious. The pasta dishes were nicely... More

Seating was beyond tight, a bit too close to my fellow diners for comfort when I can listen in on their conversations. Spanish seafood stew was very good but spicy, and a perfect serving size. Waiter was not at all friendly, but not rude.
