South Park Saloon is located in Alma, Colorado, apparently the country's highest incorporated town at 10,578 feet, as a sign leading into town proudly proclaims, although there seems to be some discussion and confusion over this. It's pretty much the only thing there is to...More

Wings are prebaked to seal in flavor then frozen and deep fried when you order. Very tasty like I make at home. Parmesan garlic were fantastic and the local atmosphere works for this place. The pot pies look like a great reason for another stop.

We had to try this out and were VERY impressed. The owners were great (found out she is an educated Chef). The atmosphere is rustic and fun. The menu was really the winner overall. We saw people with great-looking all-the-fixings burgers and home-made fries. But...More

The Highest Saloon in the USA ! Our bartender was VERY friendly and informative ! As a fan of small town hideaway bars this is a FAVORITE !! Plus the added advantage of lag of oxygen keeps the bartab affordable !!

Just like the title says. Chicken pot pie was best I've ever had. Fun and friendly service. Don't think that because this is the only spot in town means they don't serve great food and have pride in their watering hole. Speaking of which, good...More

I'm sitting here at the bar, it's just over 8pm and the only thing on the menu they will cook is pizza. Got told no on my salad. The wait to even put in my order was over 5 minutes and the pizza is going...More

We were biking from Fairplay up Hoosier Pass and stopped here for lunch. I really wanted to try one of their meat pies but I was afraid that it would take too long (says 20 minutes on the menu) and the clouds were rolling in....More
