Though the view was fabulous, the food was average. Our waiter was extremely friendly. I wanted really good seafood (as we have had at the Sea Chest in Cambria), but was a little disappointed. The crab and prawn salad was so-so but was large enough to split. Not sure I would come back. It was nice to go once.

There's been some confusion about which Avila pier is closed. Since the Old Port Inn is at the end of 1 of the Avila piers (there are 3) I was concerned that I'd have to pass on my birthday steamed clams...thank goodness the old pier (the one on the north end of town) is still open so my birthday dinner... My husband and I camped at the beach and wandered down to the wharf in search of a good meal. The spinach and cheese ravioli was the best I've ever eaten. The sauce was divine and the ravioli melted in my mouth. My husband loved his seafood pasta too.

The view is amazing. We love the seafood and have had several celebration dinners at this off the beaten path restaurant

From the moment we arrived the host and our waitress (the owners) were welcoming and informative, regarding the restaurant, the menu, and the town of Avila Beach. Three of us ordered the fish of the day, fresh petrale sole, which had a light sauce on the side, potatoes and fresh vegetables. The fourth person ordered a steak, which he reported... More

Great service & food. Of course all the fish are fresh caught and cooked to perfection. Will go there again.

My brother and his wife have a place in Avila beach and they took us here for a anniversary dinner. The food and service was great. I love the tables with the glass bottoms so you can see the water and the mushroom are wonderful. We ate to many!

My hubby and I went for our anniversary, our first time there. It was awesome just to get there driving on the pier, the waitress ( i think selena was her name) was very nice and patient to help us to choose our food which it was delicious! !! She also was kind to take us a pic together (i... More

With the feel of old Avila this unique restaurant on the end of a pier is a must for any visitor to Avila. The fisherman's platter was a great choice. The peach cobbler was so so. The otter dining outside our window was too cute. Friendly waiter in a relaxed atmosphere.

Traveling the coast of California we were recommended to eat at Olde Port Inn. Glad we did. We had a party of nine and they were quite accommodating. Being from Florida, we are used to beach views but the views from the pier and dining room are spectacular. Food was very good but, nothing to write home about as it... More
