Flew in for the experience of landing at Catalina. The cafe is nice, you order at the counter and food is cooked to order. Recommend the bison burger.

My wife had the buffalo burger and I had the bleu burger. Both were great. Plenty of places to walk around and the buildings are very interesting and historic.

Filling (if ordinary) food is not the reason to come up here. It's a 35 minute drive from downtown Avalon or a half-day walk. Either way, the setting is really stunning and you can watch the small planes come and go off of the somewhat...More

This is not how much you'll really pay, but celebrity pilots and other private pilots have been known to fly over to the island just to grab a burger, cookie or even just a cup of coffee at this historic location. If you don't fly...More
