This place is kick-back and fun! Got a seat by the boardwalk so we could people watch. Grabed a beer and wiki-wacker plus the free straw hat. (Got to have the wiki-wacker). Food wise i ordered a clam chowder in a bread bowl and a buffalo burger. The buffalo burger was delicious!!! Music was great and service was perfect. I... More

Shared the $25 zombie drink. They are not stingy with the booze here and the place is loud and fun with kitschy decor. Food was good. My sisters had swordfish tacos that were not breaded. The coconut battered shrimp was good too. Staff was fun and laid back. Great fresh off the boat start to our weekend in Catalina.

This is a GREAT old Tiki Bar from the past and is a fun place on the Island to add to the flavor. They have a full bar and serve some good food. This is a really fun stop.

Love this island retreat. Luau Larry's gives a nice Island vibe to the Catalina experience. If you have the chance while in Avalon, get over to this spot.

Went here based on recommendation from divemaster to get our "wiki wacked" and on the fact the had wings. Was not disappointed in neither regards! Great drinks, good food, and friendly atmosphere. Make sure you visit this place before you leave Avalon. Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Total fun. Sure, you make a spectacle of yourself, but that's a bit the point here. Best is that you get to keep the hat with the drink :)

My husband & I stopped by Luau Larry's over lunchtime during our Catalina Island mini vacation in August 2016. Before our trip to Catalina, we read how Luau Larry's is like an institution on the island, so we had to stop. Not a fancy place, but it's a pretty decent beachfront bar. They're known for their Wicki Wacker mixed drink... More

You have to stop in at Luau Larry's for the amazing drinks, to get your WIKI WACKED, and to hear Gil sing all the hits! Do not pass go, do not collect $200 as we used to say, but you HAVE to go to Luau Larry's at least for a few minutes while in Avalon. I always stumble over to... More

Why not?!... Have a Bloody Mary with the locals and watch the parade of day trippers on the sidewalk.

Got here around 9pm. Food was ok. Had buffalo burger & fish n chips. The burger meat was good but lacked seasoning. The staff was nice. The live music entertainment was excellent! The Mai Tai wasn't as good, it's a hard drink to get right. Tasted like they used pre-mixed mixer. The Wicki Wacker on the other hand was great,... More
