We just landed there by chance and I ordered the avocado with ceviche, just delicious! And enough for two people. We sat outside and I was able to charge my phone right there, corner table.

We called in with a plan to possibly eat there. We had a drink, but decided not to eat. The service was poor and the place felt a little grubby. It did have a good happy hour though!

Ok you can tell I am not a fan. Service is terrible. Presentation is terrible. Chips were good. Grilled vegetables that were not anywhere near a grill. Entrees a step below average. Too many other great spots to eat to consider this in the future. Oh and the price.....not great value....$16 for entrees for mexican. Pass on this one.

We were treated so poorly it was almost like a joke or that they wanted us to get up and leave (really wish we would have but we were hungry and other places had waits). We were brought menus but after 10-15 minutes had to flag someone down to acknowledge that we were even there. It still took another 10... More

Horrible service, had to hunt a waitress down to get a drink order after sitting on the patio for 20 minutes. Ordered two different margaritas that were absolutely horrible. Placed an order for a burrito and upgraded to "California" style which was $2 extra for basically adding 6 French fries inside of it. Burrito was mediocre, GF had cheese enchiladas... More

Decided to eat here because the menu posted outside drew us in. The bacon was super salty but the eggs were better. My husband enjoyed his breakfast burrito much more than I enjoyed my two sides. Like just about every other restaurant on the island (and probably any island) it took over 30 minutes to get our food but at... More

The local seem to gravitate here and the atmosphere is funky and fun. Mexican food at a decent price for being on the island. You must try the Bloody Mary's and ask about how he makes them. We watched him fix his special mix in and it was fascinating. The mix included squeezing fresh limes into his mix and spices... More

Coyote Joe's has great decor, all beachy and Mexican combined. Service was great. Food was super. I hear their drinks are super, too. We have a favorite Mexican restaurant at home and this place rivaled it! Would definitely make this place a staple when visiting Catalina again.

This was one of 6 restaurants on a food tour. We were not disappointed. It is a quaint Mexican restaurant. Loved the paintings on the wall. We enjoyed a John Daily cocktail and potato tacos which were wonderful. Who would have thought to put potatoes in tacos. Service was friendly and it was fairly busy when we were there. It... More

I had a chicken burrito which was very dry and didn't have much taste. Don't think I'd eat here again.
