On our way from Tahoe back to the Bay Area, my friends suggested stopping at Ikeda's. They suggested I have a burger and a piece of pie, so I had a Mushroom Big Burger and a slice of Marion berry pie. Both were yummy, though I'd say the burger might have been the best I've had. It was certainly one... More

I come here to buy their homemade pies. The peach and marionberry are my favorite. Their produce is fabulous. I've been stopping by this place since the 1990's. You can taste test the many salsas and sauces. My daughter loves the dried garlic and crunchy Okra's.

I stop here just about weekly, sometimes for market items and other times for lunch or dinner. Had dinner with the family today and everything was super yummy. Wife and I split the TriTip sandwich which was awesome. The market had lots of great stuff, cool staff and a bunch of unusual but also consistent items. Well done but I... More

All fresh and natural fruit and a fine assortment of vegetables. Home made pies always a good choice. Immediate access to freeway.

From the outside, Ikeda's could be mistaken for a Farmer's Market or a "fancified" fruit stand. Not so in the inside, however. When you enter, you will have to squeeze in (lunch-time) in order to stand in line to order your sandwich. The wait for a grilled item will be 25 mins. or more. Plan on eating there as the... More

The best pies I've ever tasted, and a Very good chicken sandwich. The market has great fruit and baked goods that are baked at the market!

Ikeda's has been selling fruits and pies in Auburn for several generations; there is now a Davis location as well which has been reviewed separately. This review is based on several stops for pie and food at their on-site restaurant. If you're looking for your mom's pies and food, you won't find it here. The offerings are good, but just... More

Ikeda's is a must stop going and coming from wherever on 80. Burgers and fries, pies, fruit, etc. they have everything. Don't be put off by the lines, they move quickly and efficiently.

This is a great place to have lunch and to take home some goodies. The burgers are great, the line gets long so be prepared. The produce area is great for getting all kinds of healthy stuff but you can't miss taking home a pie of just getting a piece for dessert. I just recently saw a program on TV... More

I always enjoy going to I Ikefas for lunch and have hamburgers there. They have some of the best hamburgers that you can find within 100 miles.
