I ordered a turkey BLT on wheat toast and a cup of soup. The waitress brought me the wrong soup, which was barely edible as it was made with a ton of corn starch. The sandwich arrived on un-toasted bread, so I had to send it back. The waitress explained that she had lost her "book," which I guess was... More

Being Auburn residents means we can follow the restaurant scene more closely. Awful Annie's was always a favorite place to go in Old Town, but also very crowded, especially on the weekends. The new location offers a larger, more spacious dining area as well as a more brightly lit and inviting atmosphere. Parking is also much easier than the Old... More

Start your brunch with one of their justly famous bloody marys. Amazing flights of four different types of bacon- Thai, candied, smoked and jalapeno- will get your mouth watering. Easily enough to share as an appetizer. On our last visit we opted for the potato skin benedict and the crab cake benedict. Both excellent. Service was impeccable as always. Well... More

The ambiance, the service and the FOOD is consistently, in my humble opinion, the best in the area for breakfast & lunch. There isn't just one item that they are noted for (well, except maybe for the Bloody Mary's!!). The staff make you feel like family.

Awful Annie's has always been a very popular local's favorite. So popular that it is common to have a line out the door. Breakfast and lunches are filling (expect to take home food) and menu has something for everyone. However, service can get bogged down with so many diners. Visit Annie's when you have enough time and good friends to... More

Best omelet ever! Fluffy tasty and the salsa was very good. Wait on weekends is long but weekdays the wait is considerably less. Good coffee also!

The food at this restaurant is worth any wait you might encounter. Everything is fabulous and the service is excellent. Since their move the ambience is wonderful and roomy

Very well run restaurant for breakfast or lunch -- a must when in the Auburn area! At most restaurants, I have my favorite meal and am disappointed when I venture out to try something different -- that is NOT the case at Awful Annie's -- I haven't had the same entry twice and have never been disappointed (nor has any... We have been long time fans of Awful Annie's but since its move earlier this year, I have lost interest. I don't know why the food tasted better at the old place, but it did. Call it nostalgia or call it the power of ambiance.... And I wish they would get rid of the two tables wedged in by the... More

Hard to choose! I like their signature sandwich for lunch, but have never been disappointed. My go to place to take a friend out for s special brunch or lunch. Usually crowded, but still worth a wait. Friendly servers.
