This is a nice little diner in a quaint little town. The food was good. I ordered a Ruben sandwich which was acceptable, yet a little oily. Only downside is that one of the waitresses was walking around and talking at a decibel level that could shatter glass. Could barely hear ourselves talking over this racket. Apparently it was a... We could not eat another greasy meal at the B&B, so we stopped here on our way out of town. Nice, friendly service with only one waitress. The omelets are huge and delicious and the French Toast is great. Bacon is thick and crisp. Would definitely return here again when in town.

I had a swiss, ham and asparagus omelette with hollandaise sauce. I thought it was excellent. I would give the hashbrowns and biscuit a very good. Huge portions. I probably ate about half of the food. The place is in need of a good cleaning. This is the place to go to support the local business owner. I would go... More

This was a really great breakfast. The food was so delicious. The service was down home and friendly. Huge portions. If you want a real chicken fried steak this is the place. The atmosphere was old style coffee shop. If I had any negative comments it would be the restroom need an overhaul badly. But I could over look it... More

Well, you may not be Julie Andrews, but this restaurant is a very popular local's hangout for breakfast and lunch. There are two in town, one in the old downtown (historic) and one up the hill on one of the main commercial roads, but still considered downtown (or uptown) surrounded by other shops. The food is good solid cafe food,... More

We had friends that wanted to treat us to breakfast and thought they'd like this place. While most of their breakfasts are a lot of fun, I just got a mini breakfast with an egg, potatoes, toast and sausage. The friends loved the food here and we had great service, too. Located on High Street downtown near Elm. Sunday mornings... More

This is a local classic and always busy. If you are familiar with Katrina's, the food and portions here are similar. The service could use a little improvement and it does not match the quality of the food. The décor is simple and dated, but clean. This is not fine dining, but really good food in portions for hungry people.... More

Wide selection of whatever you want on the menu, no matter the time of day. Waitress was exceptional on March 1st for breakfast/lunch.

Edelweiss is an authentic kind of place. The wait staff are locals who are very chatty and make conversation with their customers. We went on a holiday morning for a 10:45 brunch. The place was packed. The portions are huge and the food is well prepared. This is not a gentrified, "hip" restaurant. It is the real deal!
