This restaurant is located on the second floor of the hotel with two entrances. Nice bar with big screen tv. Full menu, good prices. French onion soup was good. Fresh bake pastries available for deserts. Happy hour drinks available. Friendly staff. Appears to be frequented by the locals.

Great food, friendly service. The bakery is great & the food delicious. Nanette is a really good waitress. I ate here every day for a week on business & it was a treat!

I had an outstanding BLT. I'm still thinking about it. It was huge, the tomato slices were giant heirloom tomatoes, perfectly ripe., bacon was fabulous and sourdough bread was excellent! My tablemate had a large omelet , and other tablemate had a kale peach salad, both portions were large !!

A really really good place to eat! Being connected to a hotel I wasn't sure how good it would be,,,but I was totally wrong ! They had the best white cheddar Mac not cheese ever! And the dessert,,wow,,to die for! A huge brownie with two big scoops of coffee ice cream on top smothered in hot fudge. Make sure you... More

Max's is friendly and responsive. I only had breakfast there. I could order from a menu or the breakfast buffet. There was a good selection of food. Separate containers for fruit let you design your own fruit bowl. No waffled, but lots of French Toast.

Great food and atmosphere. A little hard to find. But once you are there excellent. If ever in Auburn will visit again.

We have been to Max's several times in the last month or two, and while the food is OK, the atmosphere can't overcome it's history of being a coffee shop. Max's is in the former Marie Calendars building, and the decor and food have not changed much. The second trip we were in a little later than usual, so very... More

Max's is attached to the Holiday Inn, making it convenient for us to visit. We had already eaten dinner but were hungry for dessert so we dropped by and brought some yummy desserts back to our room (charged it to the room - thanks!). Upon walking in we were immediately greeted by one of the sweetest waitresses I've encountered. I... More
