Went with family on a Saturday night. Several of the items on the menu were unavailable. Several of the craft beers advertised were unavailable. Servers were inexperienced and got the beers we ordered mixed up. Rather noisy too.

The beers are plentiful and the food was ok. This is a good place to grab a beer and a bit to eat with the family. Our fall back place when we can't figure out anything else

We went on a Friday mid-afternoon in summer. It was crowded although half of the beers were sold out, leaving a mediocre selection. I tried the saison, which was more like a pale ale (not floral or peppery). Service was good and the food wasn't bad, though. If you don't particularly care for beer, it's fine. If you're a beer... Pub food lunch. Good sandwiches and on site brewery make for a pleasant lunch. I might say upscale pub food, I had Salmon sandwich, my friend had a 1/2 sandwich/salad combo, and his son had a Cheese Bread appetizer. Everyone was satisfied and full. The beer list is extensive, choices for everyone. I was here last several years ago but... More

Stopped by on way down the mountain. Vivirant and busy with nice atmosphere. List of beers is ok but food was average at best. Fish tacos were dry and mostly lettuce. Meat loaf sliders were pretty tasteless. Extra side of fries as a substitute for one entree was a very small portion. Been there before but this time was not... More

Went on a Friday night, service was exceptional. My friend got the fried chicken and it was outstanding. They have a large selection of IPA beers. A must go if in Auburn!

At least six trips to the Alehouse have earned this long overdue review. This is a high-energy, loud place. You may wait a half hour or more during peak times (like after your Auburn Recreation Area day hike). Tip: Call ahead (they'll add your name to a second list) and, if you must wait, there is a second "mini-counter" toward... More

It's the Wandering Yank. I've been to the Auburn Alehouse at least a dozen times over the last 5 years, and this is my first review. I guess if I've been there at least a dozen times, you would assume that I really, really like this place. And you would be right. First, the decor is fun and interesting. Very... More

My girlfriends treated me to lunch today. Although it was in the 100's in Auburn, the Alehouse was kept very comfortable. My girlfriend ordered the Fish Tacos. The beer battered fish was quite tasty. My other girlfriend and I had a grilled salmon sandwich on ciabatta. My biggest regret was leaving the other half of my salmon sandwich in a... More

The Auburn Ale House is the place to go in Auburn. No other place has so much going for it. Good food. Good atmosphere. Excellent beers.
