The best bread on central coast. Great sandwiches and had a lemon bar " to die for" Can't wait to go back!

Great local eatery with healthy, unique food for A-town. Nice change of pace with wonderful flavor. Highly recommend if you want to avoid fast food.

Incredible bread, sandwiches and cookies. I would have tried more things - believe me, I wanted to, but I restrained myself. We stopped in here today on the way back to SF. So happy we did. Incredibly fresh ingredients, huge portions and overall YUM YUM YUM! Each sammy is as big as like 2 regular sized sandwiches. Nice people, friendly... More

I came here with friends to get a picnic to go. We all ordered 1/2 sandwiches, as they are big. I had a vegetable w/artichoke, provolone, red pepper, sprouts, and pesto. I was able to choose from fruit, coleslaw, pasta salad, side salad or French fries as a side. I had the fruit, blood orange slice, melon, pineapple. Delicious! We... More

We dropped in here to grab a couple pastries for the road; a lemon bar and a chocolate eclair. The lemon bar had a strong lemon flavor without any bitterness. It was large and there was enough for two people to share. The chocolate eclair was delicious; the whipped cream was light and not too sweet and there was a... More

First of all great folks here very warm. The Breads are a work of Art! The fries ...really tasty. We ordered the Steak sandwich and that was our only Mis-steak! The meat was tough as leather. Maybe had they not over cooked it and cut it on the bias it would have been more appetizing. I would suggest a quick... More

We LOVE this place! We love the food, the baked goods, the atmosphere, and the people who own it! It's a little jewel in an otherwise-uninteresting area of Atascadero, and you would drive right past it if you weren't looking for it. So look for it! It's worth it, we promise. Great breakfasts, great lunches, great artisan breads, great people.... More

Croissants are dreamlike and their Danish pastries heavenly if they are fresh. Have tried their quiches in the past and loved them. This morning at 8.30 no breads like loaves and baguettes were ready but in the past have tried them all and loved them. Breakfast on Saturday only.

I can't fault them any stars for running out of goodies - this is a delightful spot, and there are some really terrific items to choose from but you have to get there early enough to get a selection. I've stopped off a couple of times on my way home from work to find nearly bare shelves, but this is... More

Here's the bottom line to this review up front with a flour coated apron to boot. This establishment can't keep up with current demand for their product. Aside from supporting many restaurants in the county, the family staffs and operates a bakery/sandwich/salad offering in downtown Atascadero. Six days weekly, you enter for your morning coffee and pastry, and around the... More
