Quite frankly...COVID-19 has really changed the “in-dining” experience drastically. Most eateries have modified their Menu selections (down-sized), and well, with all the modifications (although, completely understandable) our current experiences haven’t been stellar. Fortunately, a recent visit to Figueroa Mountain Brewing in Arroyo Grande did not...disappoint. Perhaps it’s because I have never patronized the establishment prior...and so, there were no expectation(s). In other words, there was nothing I had ordered before and was looking forward to enjoying again, ergo no disappointments. The restaurant has a large outdoor dining area and presents with an interior that contains “well spaced” tables. The crowd was sparse and therefore well “distanced”. We stepped up to the counter and ordered from a fairly straight forward Menu. The selection of Beer is more extensive...soo many choices and sooo many glass mugs hanging overhead! Very cool to look at! Our order included; Buffalo Cauliflower 5/5 (really enjoyed the flavor of this dish, fabulous!), Avila Fish Tacos w/side of beans, chips and salsa 4/5 (2 tacos) and a California Classic Burger 4/5 (very tasty). The service provided by Vanessa was professional, quick and courteous. All in all...no complaints here. Lunch was quick, easy and delicious! So today, in this Reviewer’s opinion Figueroa Mountain Brewing in Arroyo Grande “stepped it up” and earned this “highly recommend” 4 Point review.More

The FMB company was absolutely spectacular. The beer quality and taste was outstanding. I have visited and partaked in numerous breweries around the globe and this is Number 1. We had a personal tour with the Brewmaster who was incredibly knowledgeable and could be considered...genius with his work. I could go on forever about this brewery, but try it yourself and judge. One huge downside-they only sell in CA and AZ-what an absolute shame. If you ever reach the FL market I will go to work for you and sell your beer everywhere-you will have to expand your business, that’s how confident I am it will sell. Kudos to FMB for making life better with your brew.More

Place was loud and dark. Menu was more like snack food. Guess it’s supposed to be a sports bar atmosphere—NOT OUR CUP OF TEA!

Came in for a beer and appetizers. Hostess was busy wrapping silverware and the other person at the desk was counting money. Both were seemingly too busy to seat us. We did get a table and the waitress came for our order. Ordered two beers...and she told us half of their tanks weren’t working so the beers listed may not be available. Found two that were available and ordered an appetizer. Waitress said they were out of this also. Made our second choice and waited. Food was prompt but no silverware. Waitress said she would get some. Waited five minutes before I got up and found the tray still up at the hostess desk and procured my own. Not the best experience.More

One of the best I have been to. Their selection is outstanding, esp liked the Schwarzbier and Mexican selections (had not seen them before in other establishments). Really friendly service

Nice place, service is great and the foods good. Beer is typical Micro Brew selections with the brewery in sight of all tables and bar. Overall its more about beer than the food... Food is just middle of the road a notch above fast food...if that.More

Decided to have Figueroa’s after hitting the beach and it was ... ok. The Buffalo Chicken Ranch was just a chicken patty out of a bag with ranch slathered on it. The Chicken Tortilla soup was missing the chicken. The Santa Maria Tri-Tip was like...a French dip except without the dipping juice. Otherwise the atmosphere was awesome. The beer was great. French fries and tots were both crispy and delicious. Great ranch dip, nice and thick. Not runny or watered down. If I come back we will get something else to eat.More
