Food was ok via a take out order. The issue is the mandatory 18% tip For takeout. Every other restaurant nearby let’s you choose your tip. 18% seems too high for take out with no service. Buyers be ware try the ones around the corner.
A popular restaurant close to our hotel. There was a wait for tables so we opted to sit at the bar. Service was good as were the fish tacos. Wine prices were reasonable for California. A nice experience.
The "excellent" rating this establishment gets is simply for their Happy Hour....one of the best around. Tuesdays and Thursdays feature fish tacos for just 50 cents each. That's it. And I don't mean barren mini-tacos. These tacos had it all and were delicious! What's the...catch? Well, you need to order a drink in the bar. That's it. I guess it's assumed you're there for the tacos because the server simply asked, "Are you ready for tacos?!" We will definitely return!More
We arrived as a group of 8 but sadly they couldn’t seat us together so we had to break up. Staff were friendly and helpful. Could have been a little more attentive.
Lots of choice on the menu. Everyone was satisfied with their meal but...were not overly impressed.
Prices were reasonable.
It was fun watching the cruise ships pull out of the port and watching the surfers.
You have to pay for parking but relatively cheap (I think it was $2 per hour).
The restaurant seemed clean but little dated.More
This restaurant was walking distance distance from our hotel so we chose to go. The service was very good and there was a large menu with a great variety. I had the seafood pasta the sauce was good but the shrimp and scallops had very...little flavor. I doubt that we would return.More
This place needs to have Robert Irvine come here and update the decor. It looks all seafood but they had burgers, steaks ect. Way too much stuff on the menu, that is why, in my opinion, the food isn't fantastic. I had the fish tacos,...2 and it doesn't come with rice and beans, and why not, you get them on the lunch menu. Way too much cabbage on it the juice just ate through the 2 corn tortillas, Husband had seafood pasta, needed salt, way too watery but did have enough seafood, he said it tasted much better when he added salt. The broccoli and peppers in it were cooked very well.More
