There is absolutely no way you will be disappointed with Jaffa Cafe. I try to go there as much as I can. My wife and I will often split a Chicken Presto Dailey Special, which comes with Lentil Soup. The soup is what you would expect from lentil soup, and I am not a fan, but my wife Loves it. However, I LOVE the Chicken Pesto Hot Shawarma Pinta Wrap, which is simply delicious.
If you are l looking for a good value, and fast service you will not be disappointed! Unlike other restaurants in the area, Jaffa Cafe has not increased their prices and it is Very Much Appreciated.
Unfortunately, I have not tried any of the other items, but I cannot imagine why everything else would not be as delicious. I guess I should try something else on the menu, but you know how it is, when you find something, you love, you cannot get enough of it.
Also, the restaurant is AMAZINGLY Clean.
Lastly, there is a sauces (mid-east Salsa) bar. I get one of each and a few pickles. I suggest you try them all. 😊

Jaffa is a small, counter-service restaurant serving Middle Eastern food. My wife and I shared chicken shawarma plate, a side of baba ganoush and a bowl of lentil soup. Service was fast and the food delicious. They had a self-serve table of condiments. Oddly, the best was a tomatillo salsa. Total cost was $18 plus tax.

The staff at the Jaffa Cafe is very helpful and friendly, but I would suggest that you go when it is busy. We went midafternoon, and to be honest, even though the food was tasty, it was not really hot nor fresh tasting. Still, it tasted good.

Pros: Good food & great service!
Cons: They raised their prices too much. Too high now. Rarely go there now. Plus owner kept adding tip money to my credit card slip when I didn't authorize it.

We live out of the area, but when we are in town, we make a point of grabbing lunch here, we've even gone back the next day for more. Authentic, lively flavors, and friendly guys behind the counter. And we like to finish with the $1 Turkish coffee. This place is just the best!

Great food, great service . A great selection of dishes from the holy land. Get a selection of dishes and share. Great condiment counter too. Definitely with a visit when in the Pismo beach / San Luis Obispo Area. Just off 101. Easy to find.

We had seen the high ratings here the past few years but never made it in. Stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed! Very friendly staff. Great food. Reasonable prices. Eat inside or out. Casual - order at the counter. We'll be back.

Had the falafel wrap - at $8.99. It was tasty and fresh - very friendly employees at the kitchen. It is not like a formal dining place - but was great for a quick grab. Quality was far superior than many other Mediterranean restaurants. Everything seemed fresh - including the pita, falafel and the veggies

The best falafels and dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) I've ever had. Excellent gyros, kofta, and baklava (not too sweet). Very good humus, baba ganoush, and salads.

Food was ok, but didn't care for the taste of the sauce in the gyro..had a hint of feta cheese inside which I do not like. Staff was indifferent.
